Note 8 is now running on A10 and MIUI 12 though. The update is QCOMIXM 12.0.2 and everyone including those on the previously-stalled 11.0.11. You can and install.

Manually. ed the file from Xiaomi Firmware Updater on Twitter and chose update package from updater app.

I just removed it. Same thing..when the phone is locked, the screen won't flash or light up when a call comes in except it is engaged by unlocking it. It doesn't do so when the screen is active though

I also noticed if it is a WhatsApp call, the screen will come up when locked unlike normal calls

I just updated my Redmi Note 8 to MIUI 12 by manually ing the file, one thing I have noticed so far is the enhanced graphics, everything is more HD. Feels like a new phone
