Sweden gives one year now. quote author=Augustofficialx post=95824079] I am just taking a good look at my opinions, sweden you pay tuition fees and app..fees, but are the places for their masters program limited like norway? Chances of getting ission is high since you are paying for it,please correct me if I am wrong.....They require transcripts to be sent to them by the school via email not post
|

Efair12: Hello Efair! I'll gladly answer all questions asked in the order it was thrown; 1) Having a closing balance of NOK 123,519 ain't really advisable ( looking at the interest rates and currency fluctuations). Make provision for those contingencies. Try to raise it slightly higher at least to be on a safer lane. 2) If you've it stamped, that's lovely but the able ones on Bank apps suffices too. It's official too. I used the one normally received monthly. So it's all acceptable. 3) If both of your name is on the statement, then it's satisfactory providing your name is also there. If it's not, then your Hubby needs to draft a sponsorship letter. BTW, a sponsorship letter is pretty easy to sample. I have samples. 4) To bring your Hubby and kids is 100% possible. The applicant ( your Hubby) is entitled to work 40hrs per week and your kids enjoy the privileges other kids enjoys too. I know applicants intending to bring their spouse and kids when they get there. Additionally, it's equally possible to bring your fiancé/fiancée too. Best of luck! 1 Like |
Sweden gives one year now. quote author=Augustofficialx post=95824079] I am just taking a good look at my opinions, sweden you pay tuition fees and app... They are both fantastic Nordic countries - and Yes! Their ission is restricted like Norway too. The only ish Sweden has is that upon completion of your MSC programme, one is to spend just 6mths to look for a job unlike Norway which is a year. They are both good destinations. Anything about Sweden, please direct it to the appropriate thread. On the other hand, if you have entertaining questions on ission processes, visa enquires and significant others, kindly ask on the thread. I should be able to answer and lay mind at rest. Best of luck! |

Not at all...I tried to pursue the Sweden route but was discouraged by lots of things topmost being the 6 months post study permit and others like the application fee of 900 Swedish currency, thats around #39,000...so i had to pit my tent with Norway... Hoverboy27: |

Please I was about ing on the SøknadsWeb portal for UIS. I discovered from a query done on my Gmail that I once ed in 2018, can’t even the school. Thereafter, I tried ing/generating a , the portal said the ‘’ could not be set. Are you ed?’’. So my question is can I do another registration, since it seems that my email is showing that it’s not in the system. I read something about disqualification, if I use the same email address to in the system. Thanks |

Good day everyone, Really appreciate the manner of response here that’s why I feel free to ask these questions; 1. Been trying to get where it states that I sent my bank statement while applying for ission but I didn’t. Could it be that it’s required when applying for visa? 2. To avoid delay, my wife also wants to apply so the kids(2) can accompany her. Is it okay? 3. If she applies as my spouse how reliable is it? 4. I already have a copy of my transcript. Can I send my transcript or have my school send another one? 5. Abeg the University is NTNU. Anybody with an experience with the school application ? Thanks as I await response Arinze001: |
Good day everyone, Really appreciate the manner of response here that’s why I feel free to ask these questions; Let me shed some light on the grey areas; 1) For NTNU applicant as you said, you're to show a document of funding during the ission application period. You have no business with the Embassy right now. It's when you've been given ission - and subsequently transferred the funds to the school. You'd be given a receipt by the school which you will use for visa application and other required documents. What you need right now is to a personal bank statement or sponsorship letter ( all slightly higher than NOk 123,519). 2) Your wife is applying too. She's to be in Norway before she can bring them. She must have spent a year in Norway at least. The applicant (your kids) can apply later after your wife ( referenced person) has spent a year in Norway. There are some flexible conditions to fulfill though. 3) For ission processes, each person to their name. Everyone is applying individually likewise Visa too as neither of you are in Norway already. 4) If NTNU is really your desired school, then you have to send your transcript too. Though, some lucky folks got accepted years back without sending the official transcript but they didn't make that school their desired school. Do the right thing RIGHT! 5) check the website, read the requirement and if you beat it, then apply!! Best of luck! 1 Like |

teewaik:My advice will be that you do not include your masters in your application. I think priority is given to international students who have not done a masters yet. |
mayo47(m): 7:09pm On Nov 10, 2020 |
olujastro: This isnt true....You actually have a higher chance because they are looking out for people that can meet up with the standard |
teewaik: 7:38pm On Nov 10, 2020 |
Thanks very much for the reply....Though i have sent UIS a mail and they told me they are going to check there system, as to whether my details have been captured on there system before...If they didn't get back to me on time, guess am gonna just use your suggestion of using my secondary gmail ...I just want to get things ready as possible i can prior to that date...

|
teewaik: 7:40pm On Nov 10, 2020 |
Okay and Thanks...I think i will just give them only the docs they ask for...Just BSC...They already said any extra documents, asides what was asked doesnt influence the decision and will just delay the application..

Can any one explain the meaning of ECTS (Norway) to me and how to evaluate it with respect to my courses... For example, if you are asked to have a major in computer science with min 80 ECTS, what does this implies? I have checked google and it's get confusing to me. Kindly help. Thanks |
Arinze001(m): 2:12pm On Nov 11, 2020 |
roland2rule: Oops! Explanation of ECTS is somewhat confusing and less comprehendible. We have tried to evaluate and calculate ECTS using our course units and unfortunately, it's still inaccurate. If you did those courses asked (*3 times), just apply and be hopeful. That's all I'll say. Don't fret much about it! 1 Like |
