on the 4/10/2020, I made a payment for my appointment but till now, no confirmation mail to proceed for the appointment booking process. I mailed the embassy, they said they were on it that ones solved, I would be notified. it is 17 days now and my school is resuming on the 13/1/2021.
My question:
pls:
1. Can I make another payment for my appointment? or I should wait till being solved.
2. Is there any penalty for making another payment?

My department increased my funding and another i20 was issued to me to reflect it. Now I noticed the name of the person on my i20 has changed.

You can just fill another DS160 by retrieving the old one. Then update the DS-160 number on your visa profile.

Now. I can see Dec 4 available...
Though, the cancellation email read that I will be given a new date as soon as situation permit...
Question
If I go ahead to book December will not hinder them from rescheduling a date themselves in case theirs will be earlier
The initial date was emergence date scheduled via email...I have not at any time able to book on my on until now because the dates hasn't be early enough, but I see December 4, that's not bad but it's just saver do get this done ASAP because of some much uncertainties in this country.
