UBA MasterCard works on AliExpress..
Visa doesn't..
MasterCard is a better than Visa for online payment ( especially international payment).

I'm trying to make a purchase, from an American company, but the transaction is in naira, because I was allowed to choose naira as my currency.
But it's not still going through.

I'm using naira as currency instead of dollars, because I have exhausted my 100 dollar
Limit for zenith Bank, but the transaction is still being declined by my bank.

Does the dollar limit affect international transaction in naira too?

And please how do I check how much of my dollar limit I have used?

It begun with me following the advice of one post here. Go to the PO and tell 'em you received text message to come collect items. Well, I showed them messages I had received before that I've even gotten the items.

Could you believe that two items I was not ed for surfaced from their sorting bags. I still insisted that there are couple more that were tracked as having arrived (that was not entirely true), but they too insisted those were the ones they've received.

2 hours later they called me that I have some parcels that were already packed in "to be returned items" bag and that I should hurry up to come take 'em. They were three in number one of them having been updated to "failed delivery" since 19th September and I've been there twice to demand the item, but they kept saying that it's not been received and if they do, illtbe ed.

Of the 5 items, two were singPost ordered 29th September, one stuck at "despatched to destination country" even after delivery while the remaining three were Yanwen and Cainiao which updated to "arrival at destination" within 3 weeks.

stop forming itk. visa works fine just like Mastercard. before, you can only have problems if you're using access bank visa card cause it hardly ever works for anything, but since Sep 30, seems most banks (wema, uba, zenith) has blocked all online transactions. i was only able to use my dollar card to make a purchase yesterday

Even if the prices are shown in local currency, the transaction will be processed in dollars, so your 100 USD limit still stands.

As per knowing the amount of USD you've used for the month, I'm not sure that is easy to check except if you call custocare and give them your card details. But know that your limit is renewed first day of every month.

There was a time i told someone here that if aliexpress fails to refund you, dont blame dem, blame nipost.

the last time i went to post office, someone came to pick up november 2019 order ,,,,,,i tear laff com ask dem say where dem keep the item since last year....The lady said the problem is from the head regional post office bla bla.....They told the guy he will pay 500, he just pick up the item and left without paying with anger......

I'm just lucky I got refund. Thankfully the update for returned to country of origin was available to AliExpress.

they are not really accurate, sometimes if you are lucky your item could arrive before the estimated delivery time, sometimes it will exceeded. Last year in September I ordered a phone, the estimated delivery time is 20 to 35 days but my phone arrived in Lagos in 7 days and I eventually collected it in Jos on the 10th day. Then again in December I ordered another item with estimated delivery time of 35 to 58 days, it was delivered to me in August, that's more than 8 months after.
