Please the date of birth in my NIN is different from my certificates and id cards. I don't use the NIN id for anything.
But now I discovered that the new international port needs NIN.
And the date of birth I want to use in my international port is different from the one in nin . And if I make the international port dob to be thesame with nin it will affect other certificate that I have.
Please any info on how to change the dob on my NIN and how long does it take to effect the change if it's possible. Any useful information will be appreciated.

Sad. I still don't understand why other forms of identification/ID numbers can't be used.

You forgot to tell OP, that he has to bribe before things will be done. Very expensive bribe. If he doesn't bribe, he will wait forever. Talking from experience.

Mine took 3days to rectify at garden park, owerri. Imo State without any form of bribe. I simply paid via remita , changes were effected on their system then I was given a paper with a code on it and was asked to come back after 3days with it.
I advise you go directly to nimc and avoid touts at the premises.
