Whao! This is great though Asaba & Akanu Ibiam Airports are just a stone throw.Dredging of the Niger will also be done in the long run.Ala Igbo ya dinma.

Not just that, another governor may even abandon it and it will become a white elephant project. He must do everything possible to complete it before living office.

He didn't build it in Awka or Onitsha but in his village as I heard, so another governor may abandon it for that reason if he fails to complete it before leaving office and that will be a disaster.

The airport project will be complete as scheduled by God's grace as work is going on day and night, Saturdays and Sunday's even on holidays and public holidays

And it's professional contractors that's handling it, more than 5 contractors namely: China Railway, Craneburg, IDC, Kanubeen, RCC, Niger Cat, and others I didn't .

Anambra don't deserve an airport.. There is an airport in asaba and another in Enugu... Anambra is a small state that is been washed off by erosion.. They should concentrate on that and forget about this airport that will add nothing to them

Seriously Anambra doesn't deserve an airport... They're more pressing needs like tackling erosion than this.. Most people will even prefer asaba airport because it is closer than anambra airport which is almost in kogi state

Asaba airport is in another state, and Anambra has no control over it! If the next Delta Governor doesn’t like the face of his colleague from Anambra, he could frustrate Anambrans using it; or if he’s not a good manager of resources, the Asaba airport could have challenges which may impact the economy of Anambra!

Also, the financial benefits derived from Asaba airport (if Anambrans usage helps to make it viable), will Delta State agree to share said benefits with their neighbour? Or you actually think Anambra is so stupid to the point of helping to enrich another state to its own detriment?

The picture you showed of parallel runways does it hold small aircrafts, the render you showed is an airport larger than the ones in Abuja and Lagos. Which both have only one runway, to have two runways looking like that it should hold 50 million engers per year, and we both know no where in Nigeria has that much demand.

Really? So Lagos light rail, Lekki free trade zone, egbin power station, attracting investors for ilubirin, dangote refinery, Lekki port and alaro city. If you wanted these your governors would have attracted them to the state I agree with you on akwa ibom but Anambra governor is not doing well in my opinion.
