How can they pick up twins on scan at 36 weeks, and then it disappears afterwards?
A 36 weeks fetus is too big to disappear anywhere.
It's either the person that did the scan got his degree from under Bridge Ikeja or the Drs are playing games.
When they were expecting twins and found only one baby, why couldn't they call the relatives of the woman and inform them there and then?

BTW that hospital should be close down, a lots of negative reviews here on Nairaland never talk of outsiders..... And that's a big issue you should have focus not coming to take her sides...

I know you are forwarding a story. do well to forward the second part as released.

There are a thousand information that was not released here but if you READ CAREFULLY the woman's claims, it should bring some questions to mind.

- How will a hospital that INTENDS to steal one of your twin babies inform you via scan report (that can easily be modified) that you are expecting twin babies?

- if the supposed woman that was injected to sleep for the process of Cesarean Section (CS) to be carried out as she claim, how could she also at the same time be awake to see that she also had twin babies.... I will let fellow women who have gone through CS to elaborate on that.
For Layman sake... You are either given an injection to Put you at Numb so as not to feel pain during CS process OR you are totally knocked out by an injection till the process is over.

Listen to some other facts which has not been revealed by this same couple which proves that the couple were FULLY aware that they were expecting just 1 child.

However the reason for the REPEATED scan was because the Gynecologist was always feeling one feotal heartbeat during every examination, told her to go for scan for a double check and SCAN UNIT gives her a report that she is carrying twins.

- the couple purchased ONE set of delivery kit on the day of childbirth. When he was asked for the second delivery kit, he simply stated that let the babies come out first
- When the delivery was taken and it was discovered that it was one baby, the husband was immediately called into the theatre (against hospital regulation) to see what was been observed in the theatre and in their words; he never acted surprised which also baffled the staffs. The wife was never aware about the whole development till she awoke
- After some days the husband in company of his family and their pastor went to the hospital to request for the supposed second twin which He now claims was stolen by those who carried out the CS. When it was delibrated, it was proven that it was a clear case of Error report from the Scan unit
- Family not satisfied took the case to Alagbon CID who did an investigation recovered all the patient file from the hospital, called in 3rd party medical personnel to review and clearly insinuated that there was no Second baby. The couples lawyer even hinted that it was not stolen baby.

Still not satisfied the family Probably hired another lawyer (as the first lawyer hinted he will not be able to carry on with the case). The family is now requesting the sum of two hundred and fifty million naira (₦250,000,000) within two weeks in order not to take the case to court or hospital should provide their baby.
But unfortunately the corona virus pandemic plus lockdown has made it difficult to proceed hence they have decided to use social media.

There are more to this story but I will stop here let the breaker of the news release her second part of her story.

Summary still remains the hospital may not be totally clear of the blame but obviously d couple did not have a twin birth neither did the hospital stole a baby that was not birthed.

Are you OK at all, read the write-up again before coming with this your nuisance. She did CT scan 3 times confirming Twins, the hospital has not only question to answer, they have a whole lots of examinations to scale through this. What sort of stupid is this.

I have seen first class wickedness of nurses Abe na midwives. Most people tag them witches.

Let me tell you all a true story. Happened in the hospital I was serving.


This woman was booked for CS on of twin gestation and other issues. She had 3 scans done at the hospital. On the day of surgery she was prepped and wheeled in.

Surgery started, we opened her up, brought out the first child, then the conso was now looking for the second child. There was no second child.

That's how we called the husband into the theatre o, let him come and see for himself that there are no extra exit points in the theatre, we didn't steal the baby. We only found one child in the womb, not two.When the husband had confirmed for himself, we continued and closed her up.

My oga was pissed. I was beginning to wonder if it was wrong case note. We asked for all her scans. They all showed twin pregnancy, except the first scan at 8 weeks which showed signs of vanishing twin syndrome.

So it was likely that the other twin did vanish.

@fumisticqueen, please do you work at or ever worked at St Raphael's hospital? Somebody on this thread says that's your workplace just wants to confirm because that's not what I understood from what you wrote up there. Thanks
