After the update, it can take upto a week. My RN5 took 5 days, and I know how many times I did a random force restart, allowed my battery to go very low(not necessarily drain), charge to 100 under or turned off used again until I noticed everything was normal.

I hope you have turned off your WIFI and Bluetooth scanning?

I am trying to root my Huawei but they have blocked bootloader access recently.
Please, how do I go about unlocking the bootloader?
There is a paid unlocker (that supply BLcodes) I've heard about but I don't trust it.
I have other phones but I REALLY want to jailbreak a huawei device, plus the open source could be of use.

I will like you guys to help my situation as the phone isn't meant for me and I won't like the situation of making negative comments on it

Definitely, it's the update that's the culprit. stock rom and flash it on the phone
