its either the phone fell and the home button connector somehow got disengaged. Since the phone wasn’t worked on before it the fingerprints stopped it might still be repaired. So if can give it to the engineer to CAREFULLY check the home button flex connector

that is the end of the fingerprint if it was new it would have been eleginle for replacement in Apple store but since it isn't there's nothing you can do,the fingerprint must have disconnected and have fixed with a third party part apple devices have a way of authenticating there biometrics parts that are all about security,if you fix it it may get disabled same with face id,if you fix the front camera that's the end of face id

Yea its was working before but i put in in my pocket and slept off at night but upon waking up i found out its stop working
