I blame the Nigerian FA 100% for that. They should have kept tabs on those boys even b4 they started playing professional football.

It's not when they start playing regular first team football that they are supposed to start trying to convince them..NFF are not serious, England av been calling those boys since u16 but NFF will wait till they turn to professional before taking the first step.

He was Derby County's best player last season and i don't know if they called him for Nation's cup. I believe Pinnick must have ed him before, maybe he didn't give a nod.

What is Agbonlahor treatment?
was instrumental in world cup qualifiers only to be dropped for tournament proper.

How was Agbonlahor instrumental in their world cup qualifiers? How many games and minutes did he play in the qualifiers, What did he contribute

Clearly state his games played, minutes played and contribution in the world cup qualifiers and now make a case for his inclusion in the tournament

Why will these boys play for Nigeria? What makes them Nigerian? Were they born in Nigeria? They probably cannot speak any Nigerian language properly sef. So why should they leave the country they were born in, lived all their lives, made friends to go and play for a country they are not familiar with.

Give us details and stats of how he beasted qualifiers?? How many games, how many minutes how many goals , how many assists

Tammy is a 9, Is Sancho a 9? and why can't he bench Rashford? This season so far, he has been better than Rashford

Do you know how many Nigerian footballers are there in Europe? Do you know how many sons of Nigerian immigrants are playing football in Europe?

So nateevs son before he even becomes pro, Nigerian FA should be monitoring him? and even if they monitor, ask nateevs or ibime or nihilstjnr if he will advice his son to play for Nigeria when England wants him
Not necessarily all Nigerians playing in Europe. There should be a team in place to monitor, track and follow the progress of young talent with potential and tabs should be kept on such players.

U can't just come and ask the players if they would play for Nigeria when they are now pros.
I am 100% certain the Argentine FA did not walk up to Messi' parents when he was already in the Barcelona first team yo try and persuade him to play for his country of origin.

I'm not sure he was ed when he was at Derby.
It's Abraham I know Pinnick ed either last season or two seasons ago, which in my opinion is still too late.

Not sure. We even had to switch to a 4 man defence before we won yesterday's game.
that's because we didnt play regular 343 or 352.

all in all, im glad the manager is playing different formations and making the players adapt. that way we wont be stuck with one formation when things go south or about to go south like yesterday.

Why will Abraham want to play for Nigeria as against England?
He was born in England, grew up in England, all his friends are in England, His academy all his under age football are for England. Why will he suddenly jump and play for Nigeria a country he barely knows anything about

I get your analysis, but Nigeria, as of present, is not a country that one should get d to. Na only nationality and circumstances keep some of us here. Tueh.

Even if I no go world cup - if I'm them - I'll be delighted that I received the clarion call.

They should fight for their shirt. Them be men.

me i still think playing for nigeria is better choice for someone considering long term national career.

although he will lose the benefits of being an English player. (which is too tempting and truly i wouldn't advise my family to let go of such opportunity) but choosing to play for england means you risk short national appearance if you cant stay in top form. immediately you lose form or not playing regularly for your top or averagely good club, you are out. dele alli is already feeling the heat. he didn't even get invited this international break. only a matter of time before he becomes past news unless miracle happens and he gets his 2-3 years ago form back.

now imagine if he had chosen nigeria and still plays for totteham occasional. his shirt will always be ready anytime he wants.
iwobi despite not being in any top form will keep getting called up by nigeria. now imagine if he chose england with his current form?

by the way, why do you think okocha convinced iwobi to play for Nigeria instead?

Zaha is an example
English FA are known for their use and dump tactics, tell what Lingard and Rashford play that they still get called up?

I know we as a nation do f. Up but there's still pride wearing that green and white Jersey

which is why England will keep getting the best legs why nigeria feed on scraps....
If iwobi was good enough he will back himself to succeed anywhere....

I would certainly choose Nigeria if I am thinking long term security.

And Money is not the question here. Afterall, they make the bulk of their money in their clubs.

yes.. but niigerians consider scraps from europe to be better than best player in the local league.
sooo good for players playing in europe or even asia. wink

even if you like, be in crap form, as long as you play in europe, you are good to go.

That means he is not good enough. If he was good enough he will play for England. Sterling was born in Jamaica and he is now almost Englands captain because he is good enough
Playing despite loss of form means Nigeria condone mediocrity but England will not
Will you rather stay in Burnley and be guaranteed a starting shirt or try to risk playing for Barcelona and chop bench when you drop form
Will you rather stay at Taraba Poly and be finishing first every season or try your luck at Oxford University even if you might be last in the class?

Okocha knew Iwobi was not good enough to play for England or any European country that was why

Long term security means you can afford to lose form play nonsense and be guaranteed a shirt. Some people always want to always strive to be best in their life and not settle for mediocrity
