Please Help: Betahost247 Is Killing My Business/Blogging For 2 Weeks Now

For over two weeks to date, I have been facing problems with my hosting with betahost247 to my website. I felt to share this so I can get a professional help, and to see reasons why sometimes Nigerians would tend to go for a foreign hosting. But just to encourage our home made hosting service, I choosed to go with Betahost247 in as much I could afford foreign hosting yearly.

First I was lock out from updating my site that was the week my hosting expired. Two days later I made 7050 to them, so I can keep running my online platform.

Only for me to realized when the service was restored, they deactivated some plugins feature from my site, and also the seo plugin I was using "rank maths" was not working, even "yoast seo" was not having some major features working properly. Being the fact I had been in this game of blogging for some years, I had to run troubleshooting on my site to know where the fault was coming from. Did that for a day. But no problem at my end.

In other not to be fool before ing my host service, I wrote to rank maths team for assistance of an error I detect from their plugin on my site. I got their full to do everything I can through their reliable customer service. And I was told to my host service to solve this problem.

I called their Oga, which I have is number to lay complain he said I should submit ticket, and who is also the customer assistance to technical issues. To which I did two days before I got replied on monday last two week. Before they replied me, I had to call him on phone two weeks monday and explained, and he said I should send video, I couldn't. I said that was the reason I called to talk over this.

He answered me in no polite and business manner, being the fact he runs his business I have no right to tell him how I feel when he is making things difficult to me and making my business suffers while he keeps making profit at his end.

I didn't want to come here to complain, but because their attitude and nonchalant behaviour put me into frustrating my business. Because of this also, my daily traffic that was 1500, 1800 or 2000 daily has dropped to 200, 150. Because most of this.

But I have been patient, and my patient is seen as weakness. Just imagine I will wrote to their customer care yesterday as early as 4am, and I got reply today. And the one I write today, it will take till the next day before they will answer me. To tell you how poorly this is handled.

Yesterday, I was trying every technical analysis from my end and I was able to see this and them with screenshot to which I got a bigger surprise.

Now I need suggestion.[b][/b]

I am suggesting for them to make refund to me and take one month out of what I paid yearly plan, thought it is not up to a month so I can go for a better service where I can sleep and not feel disturbed of my labour for years going down for no reason, and secondly where I can install plugins that are very reliable to run my blogging daily. Please your guid will be needed.

And if they refuses to pay me back, what and how should I go about this, because for now this following plugins don't work:

* " monster insight" don't work.
* " yoast seo" don't work with full features.
* "Rank math" don't work at all. Just for fancy on my site now.
* " article spinner" don't work.
* Web page builder don't work to enable me change design on my site.
* I can't link text within site.

I just feel tired of this, and it is affecting my mood daily. Please web host guru's, I need your guide on this. I will be grateful if I get a better solution to switch to your service. Thanks

I advice you to transfer your website to another host before this guys do more damage to your website.

For the sanity of your online business stay away from Nigerian hosting companies. I learned my lesson the hard way years back.

Reach out to a foreign host, and ask them to initiate a transfer of your site from the Nigerian host to thiers. They will gladly do so if you buy a hosting plan from them.

I am learning hard way now. Up till now, they still didn't reply my message. I should be planning looking for a better host. If this happened two weeks earlier before I made payment of renewing my plan with them, I would have go for other service. But now I have to look for somewhere else better.

betahost hit me hard with my online selling site i relocated from foreign to local host mannnn biggest mistake was getting calls from ers that it doesnt display on some browsers that it loads halfway one time dey added me to cloud stuff kept showing error then dey removed me from cloud down time ko omo it was like a party.

Your service domain (hkitnob.com) is using 42% u usage on the server and occurring high server load activity, therefore all plugins was restricted from working. If you want to use the service again, you need to minimize your resource usage. your u usage is too high. if you want to continue with this, kindly make provisions for vps server.

We really appreciate your concern in what our client is ing through. I personally don't know why some people talk here. It seems we still don't understand this business. It's totally not easy especially in Nigeria and beta host 247 is really trying her best to keep things up-to date. The client you are backing is the one at fault here. his domain (hkitnob.com) is using 42% u usage on the server and occurring high server load activity, therefore all plugins was restricted from working using our automated VM firewall. We can't just seat a look at his domain name consuming the entire server resources while is affecting other domains. Even if this sites was hosted in foreign server, same thing will happened. We shouldn't just sit and conclude, first we need to understand the situation and causes of all this issues his facing.

I will stop here.

Am not a customer of Betahost257 but it's fair we know what exactly the issue is before we rush and condemn a company that may be innocent. This post alone would scare hundreds of prospective clients.
Pls poster you have to specify the exact package you signed up for, the price you paid etc. Whether is limited or not.
Often time people pay for limited package and when they start having restrictions they blame the host providers.

Don't bother. He was too polite and straight that was how I know he was lying from his yellow back teeth. And yeah modes can be biassed sometimes even INEC is. Do this... carry your website and get the hell out of betahost247

Any host that will deactivate or restrict functionality for 'all your plugins' without even a hoot of warning is out to destroy you in the name of doing business after all what is WordPress without a plugin? Even the theme needs a plugin to work, my own theme, Newspaper 9 uses 4 plugins minimum.

Anyway, move to Namecheap. Been there 3 years now, no complaints from any quarter and I share my website with 3 guys from the USA. Costs about 10k a year SSL included. They've got live chat and they are so nice.

For your information, we didn't paid any staff whose owns nairaland to block you, even if you Upgrade your plan within the shared hosting plan, this same thing will definitely occurred to you.

We once told you, you are not using a shared plan rather your site is hosted on VM server (Virtual Machine).

If your site is found u to 42% of server resources, keep in mind that it shall be suspended.

The plan he applied for is not those plan on our cloud hosting page. https://betahost247.com/cloudhosting

VM is just like VPS but comes with limited resources. We create his domain on that server because we noticed a high server usage on shared server. Which I have to direct my staffs to move him to Vesta Server which has less resources. Many domains who has high traffic are using the plans fine without issues. But seems he has a lot of plugin causing this for him.

This plan is not posted on our portal for client to purchase, we give this plan base on recommendation from client and base on their traffic and the price go for N18,500/year. But as a friend I gave it out to him for N7,000/year due to financial issues his facing.

We have reach him through ticket to minimize his usage to a avoid further suspension, he might be using hungry plugins which is eating up the resources allocated to him.

I don't want to argue words with you. Because if you are a friend to me as you claimed you won't do what you did to me to run down my platform without any warning from your observation.

Nothing can justify your wrong. I am just piss of by your claims. In as much you helped me with the plan last year while I had some financial issue, so my site could run online, to that I still remain grateful and appreciated your good heart.

But that is not the issue now. The issue is your failed to understand that when a client complain about something being wrong, what you should do is convey a message of this is what happened, and this is what you should do to avoid such and this is why you experienced such error. And this is why we restricted your .

Your never told me I was restricted. And I only got to know when I observed my was changed without my notification.

Take for example, when a bank observe fraudulent act in customers , they don't restrict without a notification. What they do is to notify the customer if he/she is aware so they could protect their customers interest as well to save their image.

And for this case of yours, your were only protecting your interest, while you want me to keep running arounding to check for the problem when you know.

Isn't that a bad attitude to anyone who is logical rather than being emotional?

But rather your team and you was busy trying to bamboozled me. Ignored request for technical , restricted the use and function of every plugins without a notification even when I told you guys I deactivated all plugins to run a check to know what the problem is and I wanted you guys to check from your end, you technical replied to me was every things is working fine, and no issue at you end.

You guys kept mute, and was acting like you didn't do it. Would ignore my . And here you are just making excuses.

I have tried hundreds and have problems with lots of them. I stay away from American companies as they are always 12 hours time zone away and never able to !
