It can't, it uses 32-bit (ARM) instead of 64-bit (ARM64). So no gcam.

No downside for a newbie like you. Most of those you read porting have been porting before MIUI....just for customisation. Enjoy your phone as it is cuz tweaking is not as easy as you think.

You can charge and use. The reason the person talked about lagging and hotness was when playing PUBG

Also disable WiFi and Bluetooth scanning. Search for them from the search box when you open settings.
