Check the Settings Menu. Should be there somewhere or just search for "region".

Turns out there is no way to change region on MIUI Chinese ROM as it was specifically made for China so there should be no reason for changing the region. Global on the other hand entails different regions. Of course there is a way around this but you'll need root access.

If it's only fonts you need and don't want to root, simply access your themes app, Search for "Moby Fonts" and you'll see some fonts, pick one, and use.

Please,.my phone started hanging unnecessarily, despite adequate ram and storage space, I reset to factory settings, same thing. I ed malwarebyte, it saw one Android /Trojan.Agent.AXV, I asked it to remove it. It will show as if done, but phone still keeps hanging, I scanned again virus still there, it is not removed

If you know how to, reflash ROM through fastboot or Custom recovery. That should get rid of any virus.
