i think the north needs to do more in publicizing some of its achievements.

This overall best student should be scrapped .How can any one be overall over other courses .did he write other exams?I don't c the need of this award honestlyv.his faculty/department can award him best student of that department that's all

Olodo ABU don't use to do much courses especially when you're in final year or let me say Mathematics entirely. I could I did 6 courses first semester 400level then, and 5 courses in second semester

the faculty entirely which comprises of statistics,mathematics and computer science

I have read many ignorant comments here. It is sad that those spewing such trash supposed have some education. High performance doesnt come from nowhere, it is a result of dedication, focus and tenacity. It has no nexus with your region or religion. Education is not new to the North, even the colonialist met us a with an intricate political and educational system bequeathed by our forefathers. The South embraced western education earlier but that doesnt mean people down north are not well schooled.
