That's not location at all. It's an hardware issue. Most of the Gionee M5 phones do not Nigeria Network bands. Your solution is to load custom ROM on the device or tweaking with the phone's board.

I'm having issues with my M5..the camera operates
upside down and it only gives me option on front
camera..I can't switch to the rear camera..I even tried
using other camera apps like WhatsApp and it's Still the
same problem.. I don't know if it's a software issue.. I'm
considering flashing the ROM...any suggestions? thanks

Hello guys, recently my gionee m5 mini battery can charge for a whole day without getting to 100% when it gets to 70% it will stop moving. What do I do. Should I go for a new battery? Or I should charge the charging port?

Guys please help. I'm having an issue with my Gionee m5. Anytime i put the phone inside my tro pocket it'll freeze that i'll have to hold the power button for atleast a minute for it to restart. Help!
