Nobody is going to tell you if you will get a good job or not cos no one's father, has a school or company in the uae. Your Nigeria certificates might even be useless. So it's nt a guarantee at all. So many brothers with good results doing cleaning jobs, but you still can't compare it with Nigeria. When you get to Dubai, try and do a professional course in teaching, you can search www.edarabia.com for a list of professional courses available and the institutions offering them. This is suppose to give you an edge. Even if you can't get a "good job", you can start somewhere like others did. The longer you stay there, the more you know about what works and what doesn't. Rome wasn't built in a day. You are better off in Dubai with a cleaning job that pays 1000aed, with free accommodation, transportation and sometimes feeding than a teaching job that pays you 30/40k in Nigeria. And you get to provide these things for yourself. Just do your handwork well before you fly. Peace

if you are just going for a conference just use an airline as your agent, they charge much less than that for 2 weeks visa, they might ask you to drop a refundable deposit that will be refunded upon exit, though

I have read one or two posts of people already on ground who said same thing but y'all shut them up.

I left UAE a couple of days ago and i always frequent UAE for fun, atleast once every quarter and I will never encourage anyone to waste their 500K or more on this job seeking trip. They are hardly, very very very very hardly employing Nigerians.

I saw many of them at the airport begging for money to change their tkts , clear their overstay and return home. I lost count of the number I bought food and nol cards for.

if you have been following this thread you will know getting job here is 50:50, unless your agent told you something else. If you’re already regretting, I will advise you to go back ASAP instead of wasting money on house rent, feeding, transportation etc, but if you choose to stay then stop complaining & put more effort to search for job. Pls house I need clarification to save my friend from being duped. A work visa was arranged for him In Dubai and he is done with every necessary things and gotten the visa. The agent asked him to book his flight for him to use it and get OK To BOARD from his company for him before he can start coming which he did. He has sent him his flight ticket and after two days my friend sent him the flight ticket. He call him today telling him that the agent that did the visa for him told him to go to the flight company and pay 50 draham after which he will go to Dubai Airport and drop my friend visa and pay 100 Dragan before the OK TO BOARD will be prepared and sent to him. This my friends flight departure is on Monday 28th of this month. What will he do pls?

The issue we have now is that the agent said that he is in Abu Dabir and we're those things need to be confirm is at Dubai and that he is very busy now to attend to it. This my friend flight departure is on 28 of this month. How can this be done so that this guy will not loose his flight?

if u hv ever been to an igbo man shop to buy spare parts or electronics before, that is the situation u are in right now, that igbo will do evrytin possible to see u buy spare parts from him......if u look up in this page u'll see NONNYG telling steezyhere that getting job is 50:50. So, if u hv made up ur mind to go with ur agent better prepare for the worst and assume that the chances is 50:50. Good luck!!!
