The matter tire me o. Tecno phone that I got for 3800 has a better audio output than the xiaomi right now. Once u buy, and ur phone works ok.. Just remain on that version.No one knows the bugs and issues the next version would introduce to the phone

i can relate to the audio stuff. when i bought my redmi 5 plus, it was doing fine with my old roadside earpiece and i was so impressed but immediately i did my first or second update, everything fell apart. I even came here to ask if anybody has similar problem but no response.The sound was so horrible that i feel like regretting buying the phone. I was forced to order brand new earpiece on aliexpress (baseus),for just few naira around 1k, men, it just took less than 11 days to get to me in "ordinary small packet" delivery. That is how i know how powerful my xiaomi phone output is. In fact i was so impressed that i have to order for the second earpiece in case the first one get damaged. UP until now, for about 3 months, no single issue with the earpiece and the quality still powerful with the output after updating once and factory reset once. You can try it, you will thank me later. Just search for baseus and check the cheapest one.

It's a good charger, especially the single USB type. Not the double one with all the digital screen and all.

Let me take a look at it.

Celbro still remains my best budget charger. With it you can never go wrong, if you don't have an oppo phone. I would suggest you stick with it. And it's like 2 chargers in one MTK pump express and QC on 3-12v on one side and a regular fast charge of 5v 2.4a on the second USB slot

what charger do you use? Try and check if that's the cause of your USB and battery swelling ish

I know one thing for sure that max series have good audio quality, av tested redmi 5plus and note 5 ai too and they are pretty good too. Ur 3,800 Tecno's audio output cannot even beat Dat of redmi 4a, seems Dats d one u should call crap. . Try to use d miui sound enhancer for better result.

Maybe u need to check d quality of d audio files u are listening to ( bit rate) dis is d main factor of an audio file den it's format from looseless to wma nd mp4 audio format.

If u are fond of getting audio from xender or bluetooth my sister many people rip without a good settings, even when u an mp3 file from a reputable site, diff bit rate nd size will be displayed. You can't expect a 96k bit rate to sound as a 320k of d same song.

Sennheiser, Sony, bose, jbl, akg, audio-technica nd beats are all great heaphones money can buy.

Sennheiser earphones are great for audio, however you have to manually set up your equalizer.

I use a very cheap earphone and i get quality audio. V4A standard.

Just check the attached image. It might be of help to u.

Manually adjust the equalizer to ur taste.

As for the cut off on balance stuff, i get that too on d Note 6 pro.

Then the adverts, just turn off recommendations on each of the apps and you are good.

Get the celbro 8in1 dual USB charger. Covers 95% of phone type. So far u're not using an oppo. And pls a word of caution to most phone s, pls avoid fluctuating I better my neighbour generators, those things are charger and phone killers. Cheers

Sorry about that, factory defects are prevalent with any product. Maybe your unit is one of such.

Next time be sure of the workmanship level of a repairer before handing your device for repairs.


MODIFIED: Just seeing your comment on your power bank with swollen battery, am 90% sure it is the culprit of your phone charging issue

I am surprised no one on this thread noticed the design direction Google took with Android Pie, Google sneaked in some low key iOS type design style and essentially pulled of what MIUI has been trying to do for years. I know because I have AOSP Extended v6 on my redmi 5 plus and I went through the complete circle from miui 9 to 10 to AEX. Anyways it will be interesting to see what Xiaomi will do now as Google is low key trying to make android to look as simple as iOS
