ANSWERS TO THE BIOLOGY QUESTIONS(1) When a hole is dug below the level of the water table, the ground water seeps into the hole to form a well. (2) Plasma (Cell) membrane (3) Nucleus is easily stained by dyes. (4) All metabolic activities occur in the cytoplasm (5) Cell respiration takes place in the mitochondria (6) Prolactin (7) Adrenaline (8 ) Forebrain (Cerebrum) (9) Ethene hastens ripening of fruits (10) Insulin and Glucagon regulate amount of blood sugar level (11) Cilia (12) Euglena (13) Heterotrophic (14) Cells in the bones have blood vessels and nerves while those of cartilage do not have. (15) Prophase (16) Anaphase (17) Meiosis (18) Pituitary hormone.

A consequence of global warming is..........(a)air pollution (b)water pollution (c)increased humidity (d)flooding

what is the decrease in volume of air when pyrogallol is shaken with 30.00cm3 of air. A.0.63cm3 .B.0.06cm3 .C.15.00cm3 .D.6.30cm3 |
abeylysis92(m): 9:30am On Sep 01, 2018 |
Gracy3535: not really..Global warming is as a result of d release of poisonous gases into d atmosphere, which pollute d air or so. |
freshsteph: 9:30am On Sep 01, 2018 |
Bigboy289: 21/100 × 30 =630/100=6.30cm³ D |
freshsteph: 9:32am On Sep 01, 2018 |
.
|
freshsteph: 9:38am On Sep 01, 2018 |
Gracy3535: C |
abeylysis92(m): 9:58am On Sep 01, 2018 |
Bigboy289: Alkaline pyrogallol is used to remove oxygen from air since d composition of air is 21% therefore: 21/100*30 equals 6.30cm3 |
abeylysis92(m): 9:59am On Sep 01, 2018 |
freshsteph:please explain boss thought it's air pollution I wanna learn, sir I thought global warming involves d release of poisonous gases like co2, so2, CFC into d atmosphere and some of these gases reduces d level of ozone in d atmosphere, which help to absorb and reduce d UV rays reaching s earth, but since it has now been reduced, the amount of UV reaching d earth will increase.. |
Bigboy289(m): 10:00am On Sep 01, 2018 |
