So my ppl that have done WES, please how long does it take to get the physical WES report after the evaluation completion date stated. I ask because I was told the certificate nos needed to enter into the EE profile is not on the PDF but the physical certificate.

Is there anyone here that wrote his/her IELTS test on 12th May 2018 with MOD in Nigeria, please what is the test result release date written on your TRF. I need it because I want to complete my express entry profile so I might get ITA on Wednesday. I am yet to receive my own TRF.
Also If you took your test on any other date with IDP and you have received your trf and you didn't take the test in the Asia pacific region, could you also share the date of test result written on your trf . From that I would be able to correctly predict the date of test result that would be on my trf.

Hahahah... not everyone knows these things naaa.

I wouldn't advice that if I were you. I don't know if it has been mentioned here before but I know for a fact that sometimes the result you see online may be different from what is in your TRF. It happened with a friend the good thing is that in her case the outcome was a positive one. So please go and collect your TRF.

Trust the start to the week was stress free.

So in my search for stories written by Nigerians who have moved to Canada, I came across this blog post (Blackmigrantgirl[dot]c-o-m) where the writer shared her experience on moving to Canada from Nigeria and what she has had to go through in settling down. From quitting her luxurious job in Nigeria, to the stress she faced getting a new job in Canada and trying to find a suitable apartment etc. I wish she would post her "application timeline" here as previous PRs have done.

Anyways, she is quite vivid in her stories, it almost feels like one is with her as she goes around. I literally read all her posts in one sitting. Apparently, she also did a twitter thread (Blackmigrantgrl/status/1001289127155777536) where she highlighted things she noticed were different from the Nigerian culture she was used to.

Thought to share this post, as it may give us an idea of what to expect on eventually moving to the Red Maple Leaf country. Especially for those of us who recently got the COPR and are preparing to move.

By the way, this is not an advert of any sort o but I hope postings like this are not against the rules.

Why are you flooding this thread with messages. You dropped messages on ielts whatsapp group and your questions were attended to. It will be better for you to be patient and wait for your TRF rather than use some else's TRF number to formulate yours.

I understand that it may not be easy to collect your TRF. I'll advise you collect by proxy and get the exact date.
It's better than having to decline ITA or write a LOE.

Actually I just need a way to confirm whether the test release date is 23rd or 24th May so that I can submit my profile and hopefully receive ITA on Wednesday

On God, everything about Ibadan Polytechnic is stressing me out. There is nothing on their page to even help with transcript matters and all that jazz. Nothing!.

Means i have to travel down to the school at this point.

I advice you travel. you'd get a good grasp of things. then get someone to follow up for you after you travel back.

The BSc certificate I sent to WES bears my maiden name, this will be same for my transcript, all other documents I have are in my married name, please how do i make them give my result in my married name?

never hesitate to WES via email if you have any inquiries. they will respond asap. direct this question to them in clear and concise . good luck.

My good people, so i sent my statement of result (as I don't have my certificate yet) on Friday to complete my WES evaluation. Got an email from them today stating my process is on hold as they have to my documents with my school. Is that the norm? And would exams and records be the ones to receive such verification request?

@Bettybeauty, was the transcript sent by ETX to WES electronically or through courier as I'm about to process mine.

WES will never accept transcripts through email or fax.
it's by courier. hard copies only.
you can fax your certificate.
