If I want to process my international port online will i still pay another money when submitting it at their office, pls I want to know because is cheaper online

I went to the Alausa port office today, and when i was about entering into the compound, an immigration officer asked me weather i have an in-house person I plan to go and meet, I told him NO. So he said he can help me, he told me the port cost 27k for people from 18 years old - 60. he also told me i will need a guarantor, proof of age, local government form or so, birth certificate and 3 port photograph. he said i need to make the person via online instantly before the online payment portal closes again due to rainfall. I was skeptical and wanted to do some verification from people who have gotten a port. so i told him i need to make withdrawal with my atm card. that was how i discharge. please peepz, gimme info and requirement for obtaining a nigeria port. I dont trust those immigration people. thanks in anticipation

That's wrong way I don't think they person you meet is an immigration officer, maybe a criminal, because I have 2 port one has expired and I got they second one.

Ecowas port is different from Nigeria port

They will most likely find a guarantor letter for you themselves. I'm not sure about the state of origin certificate. Why not try and get it, it's not expensive to get.

How many hours will it take me to ,do biometric n apply for my port at any immigration office...I want to ask for permission from my boss to quickly go do it within hours n rush back to work....am in Benin though

I have just read comments from this trend, my question now is:
I am aware of the online registration procedure and from the look of things it's going to be a stressful one. Can I just simply gather they required documents WITHOUT a guarantor form and visit any of the Immigration Offices and still get the ORIGINAL international port, obviously with a few extra thousands?

If you don't want wahala just go to their office and and do the whole thing there, trust me it won't be nice doing it yourself online. My personal experience, doing it in their office Alone is stressful and how much more doing it online and later going for interview and capturing in their office. I did mine 25k here in Abeokuta two days ago, it will be ready in a month time or before that time.
