Yes it is possible, go to the shop and tell them to counter it. I have done it several times. Even if it remain four, you can counter it. If you give the home team win that is 1 and you are afraid the ticket may cut, they can counter it by giving the away x2 or vice versa. The money you will win may be bigger than the one on your current ticket but the advantage is that with counter you will never lose the ticket.
