OP, here in Abuja, we make use of Mudu. 9inches, each mudu contains 8cups of Garri if it's well-measured. Now, my question is, how many mudu do we have in one painter and how much did Garri sold for in the past gone week. I'm a seasoned grocery store manager. Bought some few bags from one of my regular supplier. He charged me N23,500 for each bag and each bag contains 60 mudus of Garri. Did he over-billed me? I needed to know cos I haven't paid him. So I want to know so that he won't hide on the pretext that Garri is generally expensive and rip me off even when the price has stabled down. Meanwhile, he imports his Garri from Agbor, Delta State. Bobugee:Original mudu is 9cups n not 8cups. In any case, that price is high. 1 much of yellow garri is b/w #350/#400, while the white one is #330/#350. |

West make use of "kongo" which consists of 10 cups Most Northern States mudu contains 8 cups A painter contain 24 cups of Gari A bag of my garri contain 20 painters Numbers of cups in a bag= 20 painters x 24cups = 480 cups Numbers of Northern mudu in a bag= 480/8 = 60mudus Numbers of West mudu/Kongo= 480/10 =48 kongos Price of Gari is not stable! frankyfranky: We sell each mudu of Garri here for N450/500. Depending on the cleanliness of the Garri. Talking the originality of mudu and other measuring tools. You're absolutely correct. Complete mudu of Garri contains 9cups of garri. But here, generally, we make use of the 9inches cup that contains 8cups. |
