So I sat for the Jamb Mock exams and Scored 243, Then the main exam was just 248.
My English score in both mock and main exams remained the same.
And this got me wondering is this really my result or did jamb just adjusted the mock exam's result cus seriously I was expecting 261

In the old system, sure. With this new one, your chances of gaining ission in ABU depends on your O'Level results.

The new grading system takes into cognizance both your JAMB score and O'Level results.

A jamb score like that with a couple of As and Bs would do fine, but with Cs, Ds, and Es, or combined results, his chances of being itted will be slim.

Read up on the new grading system. It's been in force since last year.

I'm guessing you probably applied to study medicine?
Anyways, you can change your choice of course to Anatomy, Physiology, Radiography, Medical Rehabilitation/physiotherapy or Medical Biochemistry.
