... All four books authored by Robert Greene. The importance of these books cannot be over-emphasized, take my word for it.

Top 5 Bro; thre are literally hundreds of books that shape up the event of one's life.
Off my head, I can mention 15 books that would stick with you.

Of what use is the bible?

For those of you who want to read the bible, let me point out some real interesting facts for your reading pleasure.

- A prophet of god had just lost his master to an unfortunate event, on his return journey, he met some little kids who started poking fun at him and calling him baldy which greatly annoyed him coupled with the earlier tragedy of losing his master, so he commanded beasts to eat them up. Every last one of them. None of them was able to escape.

- God turned a woman into a pillar of salt because she looked back at a burning city.

- A mere man beat the crap outta an angel of god such that the angel barely escaped the fight with his limbs still intact by using magic to
turn the tide.

- God murdered a man on the spot for stopping a box from falling to the ground.

- Jesus was ing by a countryside with his disciples, at that time he was so hungry therefore he stopped by a fig tree to pluck some fruits so as to combat his hunger, but unfortunately, the tree was barren. Jesus got enraged. His eyes blazed with fury. He opened his mouth and pronounced judgement on the fig tree and it died that very moment.

1. The Richest Man in Babylon (absolutely an amazing read)

2. Think and Grow Rich (the style of grammar may want to put you off, but keep at it).

3. The Da Vinci Code (Dan Brown is a Beast)

4. Things Fall Apart (This is one book that'll hold your interest by the balls)

Not taking into consideration the fact that the bible is an excellent work of literature and should be left at that, I can only mention how the ills associated with the bible and the negative impact it has on society. Why don't you tell us the benefits of reading the bible?

THERE WAS A COUNTRY by Chinua Achebe

1. Why You Act The Way You Do- Tim Lahaye (This is one book that talks extensively on the different temperaments and how you can cope with people regardless of their temperament)

2. Things Fall Apart- China Achebe (LOL. Do I really need to say much here? This is perhaps the best Nigerian prose ever IMO)

3. Waiting For an Angel- Helon Habila (Helon Habila paints a perfect picture of what the military era in Nigeria was like and how the people of the press were intimidated)

4. The Famished Road- Ben Okri (hahaha. This book is scary (na soso juju and spirit gist) but Ben Okri's style of writing is CAPTIVATING.

5. The Beautiful Ones Are Not Yet Born- Ayi Kwei Armah (OK! If there's ever any book that talks about Africa's no 1 problem, corruption and also the struggle to stay clean in an unclean society, it has to be this book!
