this place should be for scolding. that is why it is an anonymous forum.
i will rather have people scold me and judge me for my actions than
continue with the same action that i might live to regret one day.

if a mother or father is doing something that can harm that child,
such person should be scolded.

we complain that the country is bad
yet, we close our eyes to evil and try to gloss over the bitter truth.

i will not be surprised if there are bruises on the body of that 6 months old baby
as a result of all the smacking from the mother.
to smack a child that age to tears means it must be done directly on the skin.

the mother itted smacking her everytime she feeds her
imagine if she is fed four times a day. that means she is smacked 4 times a day
multiply that by a week
and then multiply that a month.

yet people are castigating helovesme here and on whatsapp for calling her a bad mother?

onegai. there is a whatsapp group that is an offshoot of the pregnancy thread
they are all here. they are fond of picking on several that contribute
a lot on this thread.
helovesme is one of their key favourites. she has been attacked on
that whatsapp group that i wonder why people can have so much hate against
someone that does not even know they exist.
in their usual fashion, her case was brought up yesterday on whatsapp and they all mobilised
to come here and attack her. that is why you see all sorts of unfamiliar names
and also new names that are not bold enough and decided to new ones.
you of that whatsapp group especially your leader, starbuck need to
really breathe in and out.

sometimes i think it is all envy against the likes of helovesme and co.

i took out time to read the last 2-3pages of this thread. to be honest, i do not see
anything bad in what helovesme typed. it is wrong to smack a child and[b]it was
clear that the mother in question showed little or no remorse and instead was expecting
praise for trying hard with her child[/b] it was only helovesme that took out time to reply
every single post she made and even picked on specific issues such as checking the child's
weight, the issue of the creche and so on.

personally, i will term anyone that smacks a 6months old baby to the point of tears a witch.
also calling that person a potential murderer is not wrrong.
there is no justification for it. i lost a niece when she was 9months old over something similar.
she was a known fussy eater. the mother claimed she was feeding the baby and all of a sudden
the child started convulsing. by the time the girl was rushed to the hospital, she had died. she was
declared dead on arrival. meanwhile when the child was around 5months old
my sister in law was caught by my mother pinching her daughter over over this feeding matter.
she was warned not to do so but its clear she carried on. it is not rocket science to
figure out what happened to that child. she must have forced the child to eat and the food ended
up the wrong way. she is treated as an outcast in the family and it took the grace of God for her
marriage to my brother not to end.

helovesme, i think its best you move on to a new name. people look at your first topic
and all they see is a woman with a rich husband living the champagne life. this is why they
pick on you all the time as they think you are looking down on others and you do not
understand whatever suffering people are going through. you are not the only person that
used harsh words on this feeding issue. how come it is you that is being picked on?
your opinon on MMM did not help you either as they think you are mocking those who have
their cash strapped in MMM. people's eyes are boiling and they are looking for who to
vent on. unfortunately, that person was you. if i was in your shoes, i will stay away
from controversial topics because you do on your views very strongly and you
are sometimes misunderstood.

it is impossible for we all to see issues the same way or address issues the same way.
some people say things as they are without mincing words.some will rather keep quiet.

Oya those that said they have thru this kind of situation maybe u will tell me that ur baby will put food in their mouth and refuse to swallow it at all and she will pretend she is sleeping, she can sleep with that food in her mouth. Hehehe... I wonder how she learnt all that trick, I am not happy beating my child, it not a thing of joy that any mom will beat even her grown up not to say a six months old. And besides when she is crying she don't still take much she cry in a way that she won't still swallow the food like she is crying and the food is still in her mouth, have anyone also seen that or thru that. I have this thread almost four months and I read everything, before I posted here know it has gone beyond my control. Thanks for all the response, and mind u am not justifying myself. She even refuse formular, I tried that one when ever I notice she want water and she refuse drinking it, the only thing she take is breastmilk. Can a six months survive on that and am a working mom. She goes to crèche. Oya make una respond again .
