Assist in making a decision pls. I am contemplating buying a C300 2010/2011 4matic or C350 almost same yr range. Had ever used a c180 2003 but it kips giving me issues that I had to dump it for a 406. Pls assist putting into consideration: cost of spare parts and fuel consumption.

406 performs better esp when it comes to speed. C180 to mee is not much of a strong car for rugged person.

It means your vehicle is due for maintenance. You need to visit a workshop asap and if you have done so, then reset the maintenance indicator...Cheers

Wrong. Take the C180 or C200 kompressor which is basically a C180 with a supercharger.
Avoid that evil 406. The Benz is heavier, more durable, more comfy, faster, more luxurious, more beautiful and elegant and more economical.

I already have told you that your vehicle is overdue for maintenance if your instrument cluster displays that. It's either the service was done and the maintenance indicator wasn't reset or the maintenance was never done which I don't think that's possible anyway.

-35,000 displayed there means that the vehicle is overdue for maintenance by that figure which I guess is in kilometres. Did you recently buy the vehicle? If yes, visit a workshop and service your engine after which perform a reset. A competent mechanic should be able to get that done for you.

House ...Please I need an advise. I have c180 w202 1996 model. I have been using that machine close to two years now. I do the servicing in every 3/4 months. I am also in the habit of taken good care of the machine anytime I notice any issue or problem. Just of recent, I discovered that my machine finds it hard to climb slope. For instance, the speedometer will stay between 20 and 40 km no matter how hard I press the accelerator. To add to the worries, it will now begin to make some cracking/clicking sound as a metal is hitting a bell. I have discussed with my mechanic and he said it is the gasket . Someone who has a mb also complained the same thing to me and he said the gasket has been changed but his own problem persist. I really need all the advise before taken any decision on this matter. I don't want to blow my cash on the problem without getting results. Thanks as I await response.

But today while browsing i came across what is called EGR P0401, and I observed that this EGR of a thing is never is my car. I can adeuquately say both the EGR valve and vacuum Modulator are never in my car. But iremeber a day that I observed this missing part while I was with my Mechanic, because I saw that about three other Camry I saw there, they all have thses two devices I mentioned. When Iasked my Mechanic heonly told me that, that is the way my own is built. But I never see any single Toyota Camry 1999 like mine that doesnt have. My question now is is1. are there those 1999 toyota camry cars that dont have this EGRvalve and Vcuum modulator and 2. Could it be that the missing of thses two devices are some of the cause of my car highly fuel consumptiom? Please make you una help me o. I can no more drive my car to long distance bacause I see that if care is not taken I will end up using my lat kobo to fuel my car. I have attached the two devices i am talking about in this post
