It can happen at any mileage really.
A visual inspection by a trained eye can detect if done or not.
If you also look at the diagram posted earlier to see what it looks like when done, then you can detect as well.
Repair service is our main function.

Hello Nissparts

I have a Nissan Altima 2007 2.5L engine CVT. Ran a diagnostic checks today and got the following codes

· P1574
· P1715
· P1778
· P0550

Noticeable symptoms
· Car accelerates slowly when starting up and when climbing steeply hill or bridge even if the accelerator is pressed to the floor.
· Engine shuts down mostly at slow speeds when the car starts up- (the lights on dashboard remains on)
· speedometer drops to zero when speed limits reaches like 40kmh. at this point the yellow key light comes on but the car continue driving but seems to lose power.
· Steering wheel hard a little
· The transmission still selects gear.

I’ll like to understand what it’s happening to my car and how you can help fix same.

I generally advise against naija used Nissans except you are familiar with the owner and its usage
