seeing as the number of contestants are very many in this competition, a few of us here are wondering how the contest is going to be run. There is every indication that if everyone is grouped into one thread, a lot of contestants who are farther down the line in of numbering will be hampered by inadequate attention and publicity. Which leads me to ask; Is there any plan that the contest is going to be run in batches, or should we contestants bear our cross? Batches of 6 contestants per thread shouldn't be bad, as everyone would have a chance to get equal recognition. I anticipate your reply

I don't know how you intend for us to go about that. Everybody cannot be number 1 and there's no credible way of ensuring that putting you guys into groups will not be biased as some other ones wouod still be bottom of the list if done that way. I was thinking, why not do the first round of eliminations in each batch? It should help trim down the number of contestants till it can be fitted into one thread. If the batches are grouped in 6 people per batch, I would be at the bottom of batch 3 as I'm number 18. So you see, I have nothing to gain if you think there is any ulterior motive. It only just makes common sense and will be seen to show as fairness. Afterall, look at how fifa world cup is run, it's first of all done in groups, to trim down the number of participants, before the real tournament begins. I hope you understand my logic?


Modified.... Plus don't you think it's better to be bottom of each batch where one can gain better exposure than where one person is at the bottom of a long list?

This is a peagentry... Whichis done the nairaland way. It also comes in 2 categories which is organised every year since inception.... The female section has been held which was won by Queen Lanicky, Now we are on the male section.

It is proudly sponsored this time by the owner nairaland, winner will emerge after different stages of contest. He has got prices for 1st 2nd and 3rd positions.

This is where you come in..... You are to pick a contestant and vote/ him through out the contest up until the final stage.
