Do you know if DB provides accommodation during the TS?

Well, I can't really tell....buh for the little I'm aware of, most times they don't offer accommodation. You come from home everyday but they take care of your feeding for the day. At the end of every month, you're being paid an additional pay for shuttling from home. However, if they provide an accommodation for you, you won't be entitled to an additional pay. The decision is not for you to make my friend.....Mind you, this is only an observation....

wrote the test on 5th Dec,2015 in Abuja. Did the interview and medical the next day. Got the interview reply on 9th. The interview was more of an interaction about myself and my course of study and how it is related to banking. Its not something anyone should be scared of....just pray and enter that's all.

Bros be glad, uve even had ur interview and medicals, Lagos peeps ain't done natn yet. We are all kept in the dark by diamond bank..let's just hope e they don't change their mind..

The pay is nice.. Nice benefits as well.. With the whole banking stuff, they could likely end up turning everyone to marketers.
The stress at NB is less compared to banks.
What about the career paths at both place?
As a fulltime staff with DB, one can easily access zero-interest loan to invest in a biz.

You can compare
Pay, nature of job,flexibility, leave time, study leave options, promotions, work place relationship, distance to and fro work etc

If you do the pros and cons of your current place, then try and do one for DB and then weigh it. For instance, say pay: DB might pay more but the uncertainty of your final department might be a major con for you and might disuade you from taking the job.

Hi... Thanks for the insight. Now, I got my table, but I couldn't fill up the 'study leave option' for DB cos I don't have an idea on their policies towards that.

I wouldn't mind a one year study leave without salary.

Please, do you have an idea if DB offers such to their fulltime staff? What's the concept of their study leave option? Pls.

Somethings are better left unsaid on platforms like this because you never can tell who's skimming through. I'll only say a little...As a staff of any bank, no bank will give you loan whether on zero-interest or interest rate to invest into any business because this will be seen as conflict of interest. This will only make you not to focus on what you were primarily employed to do as a bank staff. If you were in their shoes, you would do same. Furthermore, study leaves can be given to staff but you need to have grown on the job a little for them to know you are here to stay and not to gallivant. You don't just an organization and proceed for study leave. This is applicable to every organization and not just banks. As per Marketing; though stressful, Marketing is the best department to be in if you want to grow on the job. You get promotions quicker than your contemporaries. Nothing good in life comes easy MY FRIEND. I hope I was able to make a difference.
