I exiled myself from this thread about two weeks ago for good reason. while I was away, I got a text from a business banking officer in their aguda branch asking me to come for an informal chat in their aguda branch which I obliged and for most of the chat the questions they asked bordered on my present job. that went well and then last week, I received a call from stanbic telling me that I was successful at the interview stage and the woman also asked me questions bordering on my present job. has anybody had any similar xperience with stanbic of late? besides if a company wants to communicate a candidates success or failure, shouldnt it be by email instead of verbal? I hope im not the odd one out here. where are my fellow business banker candidates? slyventure where u dey? see wetin dem do ur boy ooo

Am for business banker too...but the mode through which you're communicated seems odd. Anyway, so long as any invitation for your presence holds inside the bank, whether head office or branch, simply play along with them. As for their recruitment style, it really eludes and violates all known styles and explanations.

Almost 2 months now after medicals, yet no offer....someone please lend me some Patience cos mine is almost exhausted. angry angry

I guess all they do is to proactively get candidates on standby and deploy once the need and required approval is in place. Receive patience!!!

Well maybe our delays are caused by what is currently happening in stanbic. The chairman Atedo peterside and MD David borha and 3 major directors have been suspended indefinitely by FRC for fraudulent practices. I guess these negative events could affect recruitment. #prayforstanbic

the suspension is recent and this delay has been there siiiinnnccceeee. I also pray likewise that the negative events don't affect the process. Even the suspension of the right issue that would have availed them more funds for expansion.
