The 7 Division Nigerian Army has apprehended several cartons of dried fish and rustled beef smoked from suspected Boko Haram Terrorists in various locations in Borno state. The cartons of the dried fish are believed to be seized from innocent fishermen, business men and normads by the terrorists who later sell them at ridiculous amount to finance their terrorist's activities.

The items apprehended will be destroyed accordingly. The general public is hereby requested to please continue to Operation LAFIYA DOLE by promptly reporting any suspicious movement of persons or vehicle loaded with supplies meant for Boko Haram Terrorists enclaves in their area to the nearest security agencies.

It's not a waste IMO. It's just standard operating procedure: you find hostiles in a building; raze it, bulldoze it. You capture weapons, supplies; crush them, burn them. It's all about destruction: total annihilation. It's the only way to be sure.

The IDPs have sorely depended on the goodwill of generous individuals, faith-based organizations and other groups. It was only recently, sometime in August that the govt of Edo state stepped up their game and donated some relief materials to the IDPs. I am a living witness so I know what I am saying.

Go and ask your governor where he's siphoning the money meant to develop your state in of infrastructure to. Most communities in Benin city have no roads.

Please stop blaming your under-development to the IDPs taking refuge in Edo state. Let's embrace them for we all are brothers and sisters...

Why do we like pretence in this part of the world, people are dying of hunger at the IDPs and yet some foods are being set on fire, is that one a brainer? At least they could have taken some sample of the food for a test and when they are certain its save distribute it for consumption!
