ceaser:You solar s provide the electricity that charges the batteries. If you don't have more solar s than what is required to fully charge the batteries within 8hrs, it is best you leave the system to charge up and only use when it must have been fully charged by evening, BUT this does not mean you can't use solar power during the day, it just means it would need more s and you will be paying more than N480,000 for that. the amount of s to be added will depend on the electronics/appliances you want to use in the day time. So it is not limited to night use, all depends on what the client can afford and what is to be powered Thanks for the question |

Royal30:I had to put that clause of only night use not because it can't be used in the day time, but because it would affect the full charging of the batteries and this could lead to disappointment at night when the sun is down. A system that can be fully used in the day time and at night would require the following. For a "heavy" (you use a lot of electricity during the day, have several tvs on, refridgerators etc) *12 250W solar s, costs N576,000 *8 200ah batteries N480,000 *4kw inverter N155,000 *80A Mppt charge controller N190,000 *rack, wiring, lightening, and surge protection etc. N45,000 Total: N1,446,000 Alternative (If you won't have more than a tv on at a time during the day, intermittent water pumping, a freezer can be left on always ) *8 250w s N384,000 *4 200ah deep cc batteries N240,000 *60A mttp controller N130,000 *4kw inverter N155,000 Accessories N45,000 Total: N954,000 Thank you 1 Like |

Hi Sir, What's your recommendation for powering machinery on a poultry farm: 1. Egg Incubator for hatching egg - 300W (needs to on all time 24hrs) 2. Freezer - 5.4kw/24 hrs (Need to on as and when they are products inside) 3. 4 normal Ceiling fans (On when necessary) 4. 8 -10 LED energy saving light bulb for ceiling lighting (On when necessary) 5. Electrical points for computers, laptops, printers, and for charging mobile phone 6. Water pumps that need running as and when I have a 30KW diesel generator onsite to power some other very heavy machines but it does not make sense having the generator running 24/7, so having solar to power the above machine 24/7 make better economical sense. Please advise Can you can send the brochure and recommendation to [email protected]. |
