On intellectual issues Nigerians always have little or nothing to say. This was a long time coming; with the advent of whatsapp, network tweaks and bbm nobody has had reason to make real phone calls anymore when you can 'chat', send pictures, voice data and even videos for less the amount needed. Never again would I spend my hard-earned N8,000.00/month on 7GB of data when I can spend N100.00/day for 5GB equaling N3,100.00/month on a total of 125.5GB. Of course I know mtn has to make ends meet with them fueling and maintaining masts but its no justification for their constant ripping off of Nigerians. They made huge profits over the years especially when new to the Nigerian market that by now they should've reduced costs for their services immensely however that's not case; costs reduced quite alright but've failed to go even lower. It is this need for subsidized services that makes Nigerians invent sneaky ways to enjoy even better services from the company. Now the company has realized it can't stay afloat from old techniques it has decided to become a plc - I laugh in chinkonese; I'd end up buying shares while still ripping off the company because I know all the money I've spent using their inflated services is more than enough to open a successful company. |

Isn't this going to create Jobs in Nigeria? If so why can't you people be grateful for that. I'm sure MTN is not the one influencing Xenophobia and it is owned by people who don't promote Xenophobia at all.
