I think dia is nothing wrong with ur decision. NYSC will come and go but ur job will remain.

I quite share your views on the issues raised....these two discipline are uniquely placed to work side by side,but Architecture can play the role of urban planning without one feeling the absence of a town planner .............whereas the reverse is the case in Architecture.........@ chikaodili

Architects may be able to do some urban design but that does not make them capable of replacing urban planners.
In following your theory I hope you realize that urban planners can legally design houses? Can you now say that urban planners play the role of an can Architect so the absence of an architect will not be felt?

I understand the sibling rivalry but no matter what happens Architects can not wish away Urban Planners and should learn to give more than grudging respect to the planners. Urban Planners should also learn not to use their authority to approve designs to force respect out of architects.

@merikim and jemimah, my jamb ission status is now showing d skul i graduated from(i.e jamb has processed my application for deletion of d previous). I am now at peace and ready on my own part for Batch B, God willing.
