Even if the managing director is sacked..another will take over with immediate effect and will continue from where his predecessor stopped. The sack will in no way affect the recruitment. Like @citizenjuwon said...FG has shifted her attention to FAAN and everything concerning the recruitment and other things in FAAN will be concluded ASAP

Cheer up guys, I can authoritatively tell you that the FAAN recruitment is still IN PROGRESS. I won't say much more so I don't unwittingly implicate someone. If I lie to you guys, I'd also be fooling myself because I applied for a position too and have checked this thread on a daily basis. Disregard the naysayers as there's no atom of truth in their posts. I don't know when we will be ed, nor whose names would be on the list. I don't even know whether I'd make it (but I trust God to help me make it). But DO NOT LOSE HOPE. Trust me. You may have noticed I don't post always even though I'm always here. Congrats in advance.

lol....... the final score is a function of ur test score points+ pft and interview ....... the best scorers will be chosen first then followed ny the odas till the states slots is filled. A frnd of mine applied..... he did his interview before the pft...... he even travelled bt they sent him a text to come back and do his pft.... wen he asked they said its a function of the final score
I know of sum1 who scored above 80 in d cbt bt did not make it to d interview after pft, i also know of sum1 who scored 62 from same state and was interviewed after d pft. Pls explain this

obviously 4rm ur ?..d guy who scored 80 didnt meet up d requirement to proceed to d next level wc is interview,and on d oda hand,d guy who scored 62 from d same state met d requirement 4 d next stage

Simply u must every stage u get to till the interview stage.. and qualifying for next stage u must take care of the previous stage. The candidate with 80 who did not the pft automatically failed and will be drop.. that 62 from another state who the pft proceeds.... every stage has its own cut off point which u must meet so don't be surprise it happened like dt..... Ur fate depends on ur state.... so fight till d end

Exactly. Was simply correcting the person I quoted. True even the change of the minister shud not affect anything. the issuance of APL might delay but it will not be late

NIS list for PFT just rolled out and I also heard from a reliable source that NIS is gonna resume training b4 hand over, so I'm very certain we're gonna resume training too b4 hand over.

Shortlisting will continue until the final physical fitness test or until the target shortlist is met for each State. Where necessary, we will start another round of testing for States that are not meeting their target.
The impact of the selection process is that candidates that scored high (70% and above) may think that they should have been shortlisted. They may not have been because someone else in their State that applied for the same job scored higher. This was addressed by the additional shortlisting of the high scorers.
A candidate with a lower score from another state may have been shortlisted for the same job because that candidate is the highest scorer for that job from his/her State of origin. This is in line with the application of the Federal Character rules.
A candidate with a Master’s degree applying for Security Cadet, Assistant Fire Superintendent, or Assistant Security Superintendent is considered over-qualified and may not have been selected.

Sorry to burst ur bubble everything on that interview sheets contained columns for virtually everything u did during this recruitment process starting from ur text scores, to pft and ur timing during ur pft, and ur dress codes and ur grammars which is ur comportment during the interview and ur height to medical reports all of them are on that sheet with ur name written..... so don't say what u don't know young man.....



Your efforts from scratch are in there...... with the total score column at the end....

WE need the management of FAAN to know that we are expectant of the conclusion of the recruitment exercise. Considering all the permutations of how and when the exercise should be concluded, folks, this one has taken a really LONG TIME, if we should be sincere. The whole of April is gone, yet nothing has been updated even to communicate to the candidates or give them a clue as to what's going on. This silence is too loud, people. some things were at stake, like the info on cancellation. Maybe they had the intention who knows(that's just my opinion though), hence the delay. But I know since the minister has directed the MD to carry on and conclude the recruitment process, we'll be hearing from FAAN ASAP. That I'm very sure of.
