How Many 2.2 Graduates Hv Gained "Paid" Employment?

I mean how many of them are living satisfactorily in luxury (am not talking of entrepreneurship or freelance business initiatives) just like others who are working in managerial and istrative levels in known companies (ie working in shell, total etc top positions in banks, PZ, PwC, etc) including multinationals in nigeria today?

Share your own testimonies to encourage some frustrated class please!

Abeg, you guys should just stop all these degree and class of degree talk already. It's annoying! After putting all efforts to graduate with good grades in order to be distinguished, up till now 2.1 has not fetched any good job.

Back then, I had this female friend from another dept. who was on the verge of graduating with a 3rd class. I started studying with her so she could be motivated. She finally graduated with a low 2.2 and now she is working. Her uncle is a minister, but now "she dey hardly pick my call again sef".

I know of another mate who graduated with a 3rd class, but now working with a big oil company(I dunno know her position sha).

"No be by 2.1 or 1st class o"(but then, whatever that is worth doing at all is worth doing well - one of my mantras).

I made a decision never to "struggle" for job again after I almost lost my life last year, when I was going for an aptitude test in Lagos(EY).

Robbers and other people with bad intentions go on a mission and come back successfully, why should my life be endangered when I had no evil intention, but was only trying to take advantage of an opportunity that would have better my life.

I have always gone an extra mile just to be outstanding in all that I do. Right now, I think it's high time for God to prove himself. I have surrendered unto him because, right now, it seems my strength can't help me no more.

N:B I am not a big fan of typing, I just decided to bare my mind for once. So please, pardon all my blunders.

It's not about the class of degree. Its God first and pressing the right button. I finished with a 2.1, almost a 1st class. Before God answered me with my present job, i cried, fasted and prayed for over a year, but today give God the glory cos before I picked this job, I had 3 good offers. One was a government job, while the other 2 were private firms. Trust God! Your time will surely come

Well my boss is a 2.2 graduate from Unilag, she currently heads the finance department of an oil and gas company filled with first class and 2.1 graduates. To make things more interesting, she didn't even study anything related to finance in school, she studied Estate management but she didn't let that deter her. she has worked in a couple of multinational companies at the top level with her so called "2.2" certificate and she is still in her thirties. smiley

So OP stop looking down on yourself because you didn't make a 2.1 or first class, there are thousand more 2.2 graduates excelling in their field. You just strive to be the best and give your 101% whenever you are given the chance.

my dear 2.2 is different from 2.2 , a 2.2 graduate from my school university of Ibadan is like a first class graduate of most states university, because bfor u will even have the 2.2 from ui, u must read to die.

Wrong. 2.2 is 2.2 . I know U.I is well respected, and a whole lot of universities. Our Last born @ home had a post UTME score of 79(Medicine & Surgery), and the cut-off was 80. Her name came out in the third batch of ission. But it does not change the fact that 2.2 is 2.2. Thank You
