I knew this year own would be extra ordinary since other cities too have decided to the cruise. e.g. Egba and Ibadan.

Ojude Oba is no match for any cultural festival in Nigeria today.

Ojude Oba was created after the Balogun Kuku family went to pay homage to the reigning Awujale in the 1800 for allowing him and his family to practice Islam in Ijebu Ode. It became a yearly event afterward.
