Omogbolahandc, it’s there any update from your application that you submitted in March this year?
My application was not approved after showing about 16million in pof

Guys, my simple truth is this, they seems to be suspecting birth tourism now for every VIVIS applicant. Hence, for tourism, you must be able to prove otherwise. I mean a vivid one. Also ensure that your ission is ed with a scholarship. I think its no longer enough to convince the consulate if you dont have a scholarship, except you show self or sibling/parent POF that is reasonable. Just thinking out loud.

The 2 people that were denied visa applied for tourist visa, not study Visa. Let us put this in proper perspective

If you are not referring to anyone here, then don't make the comment on the thread, write it down in your personal diary at home. You gave a generalized response that correlates with the last two application update and another threate is gently calling your attention to it, rather than it the obvious confusion you set or intend to set, you are hiding your head in the sand. If the applicant's proof of fund is right, legit documents with a clear purpose of visit, approval is certain and rarely does Brazil's ission come without scholarship.

It appears it doesn't matter if you have genuine documents or enough proof of funds these days, Nigerians are getting denied. I suspect they believe we don't have genuine tourism intentions and I blame all these social media buzz, ads and influencers. They can see all these birth tourism contents on TikTok etc . That is why people with confirmed intentions like study are getting approved regardless. Similar situation with the UK japa buzz.

You are very correct ma, this is not far from the truth, my last application denial shocked me. All my documents were genuine, intact with correct POF plus I have been to Brazil and back before. Honestly, Nigerians need to stop overheating any Japa means, they need to take it easy with all this content creation. It's destroying everything for us, samething with UK and Canada. Once a Nigerian gets abroad they 90% of them On Camera and start content. It's good but too much is really bad. Secondly majority of those content creator are now using it as hustle. Birth/Citizenship tourism assistant for a fee. These embassies are seeing all these content and taking note to protect their system.
It's really sad, that these behaviours are hindering many of us with genuine intentions. But it is what is.

I said this before, they could be here on this platform. Every applicant is a potential fraud until proven not so. Hence, they would want to first see how much of truth is in your application by checking various platforms to see if there is any alignment between what your application says and what they could glean from various platforms. For example, the 'dont let your bump show' claim that is said here could be a reason the consulate delays VIVIS interviews. Just saying. Although, content creators have roles in assisting people but at the same time them too do. Imagine telling people how to seek asylum with your VIVIS. One even went ahead to telling people how you can do Oluwole of company invite. Just like you said, most of them creators are only using these too-easy-to-be-kind kind of information as baits to lure them into their dms because they give their attention for a fee. But I still keep telling people, you guys can do it yourself. Seek assistance and then add 2+2 to help you out. That was what I did. Thank you @Brasileira @omoekiti (did I get it).

For instance, Argentina has now cancelled their free health care for tourists as citizens complained about the long wait they experience. I know Brazil wont want to do that. But then they would want to do everything so that such wont happen.

So sorry about your Visa denial.
I will advise you consider study Visa if you really have interest in Brazil. It is easier and surer.

Thank you chief

Hi Guys,
I sent my docs to the consulate on wednesday last week.
The status is yet to change to under review.
Please how long does it take before the status changes from sent to Under Review

Hello Room, this might be a dumb question, but can I just make a bank transfer to the UBA to pay for the visit visa fees? Also, what courier service is being used to send the documents to Lagos? I stay in Abuja.
sadegivens0: 10:57am On Jun 12
I was informed on this platform by TadeDetule that you can make transfer payment online. So, yes you can because I did it last month I made transfer payment online to Brazil embassy UBA with a disclaimer added to it. Your second question, I used DHL to mail documents to them and I also included a return DHL envelope from them back to me. Best of luck.

Just be patient because the moment you send your documents to them, you are at their mercy. Which means they will get back with you or review your documents whenever they choose. It’s sad but that’s what is happening. Mine took 2 days to get under review after receiving the manual application that I didn’t send to them at first.
Patience is the key when your documents are in the hands of Brazil Consulate. Best of luck.
