Good pm house. Please who knows where I can get this charging module? Or something similar capable of charging heavy power banks. Want to buy a few and connect to my DC converter Thanks CC: bassdow mctfopt Dam5reey1 HeavenlyBang 1 Share |

oweniwe: Its available on AliExpress.. |

I bought it and I'm regretting it even though I got it from their accredited store .Fake too much .it doesn't work with half current while my Samsung inverter works perfectly on low current.

oweniwe: I bought something similar, for $2.20, in AliExpress. Mine just have only one type C output. Input voltage 10v to 30v. This charges my phone pretty rapidly. Totally works.

good evening all, i have seen some people complain that inverters makes powerbanks to swell how true is this claim? i was telling a guy who runs a charging center about installing solar in his shop and he pointed this claim too, he showed me some customers who had swollen powerbank as a result of charging with solar.

SourYoghurt: Buy Scanfrost. I'm biased, I use a Scanfrost. Everyday I fight to break stock and other foodstuff stored inside there. This night I had to put the chicken there in airfryer to be able to cut it. Got so frustrated with breaking up food, which are frozen, that I ordered an ice pick to help me break up blocks. Disclaimer: I use a servo AVR. Freezer plus every devices at the house, never sees less than 220V, on NEPA or on inverter. Dunno if that counts. 2 Likes |

uche393: Solar is different from Solar |
mctfopt: 8:53pm On Jun 04 |
uche393: I’ve been using an inverter to charge my power bank for many years. None of my power banks have swollen so far. Swollen power banks are more related to the quality of the battery used to make the power bank or to charging the power bank with an inappropriate charger. A good power bank with a reliable Battery Management System (BMS) should still prevent damage from occurring. 1 Like |

mctfopt: You can never go wrong with Scanftost freezer.Had one since around 2011,it got spoilt in 2023 and I replaced with another Scanftost.Superb freezing,!! |

mctfopt: Thanks so much. I saw it on AliExpress But I haven't used the platform before so... And I'm in Delta State. I don't know how long the delivery will take |

Enyinne: Because its inverter doesn’t mean it will compulsorily work with low voltage ok. You should have looked at the power rating before buying it. That is always the same with inverter AC. Not all likes low voltage look at the side or back you will see the voltage requirement |

ManAdii: Recommended charge has nothing to do with cell quality. Charging and discharge is BMS based. You can use 100A BMS on 280AH cells. You are only limiting the potential power output. You can also use 200A BMS on 280AH, this will provide more power. Cworth used same BMS on both their 100ah Cells and 300ah cells, recommend charge current is 50A. Now do the maths 1 Like |

Can those afripower inverters designed for LA/Tubular batteries be used with a lithium ion phosphate battery?
|
Ayomipoe(m): 7:40am On Jun 05 |
Yes. However, your BMS needs to be solid because it will typically draw the battery to its low-voltage discharge (LVD) limit. Every time, every day. Dabss: |

A battery that says max charge at 100a, does it mean I have to set 100a on the inverter? It's currently at 60a on the inverter settings. I use a Felicity 3kva and 3.5kw lithium. Bulk and float charge is set already at 28v. It charges slowly from grid Please help |
mctfopt: 8:13am On Jun 05 |
munchies: Your inverter may not do more than 60A Also you really don't have to charge your batteries at the maximum recommended current for it to be ok. Slow charge from grid may be as a result of different factors such as poor input voltage, bad frequency etc. What is the grid charging current? |
munchies: 8:56am On Jun 05 |
mctfopt: Ok. It's not really high, ranges between 192v - 198v. |
Trippledots(m): 9:26am On Jun 05 |
dollarnaira: How about the charging, won't it over charge it? |

Dabss: Yes , I use Luminous inverter and I have been fine all along. My Luminous charges to 28.8v v and surprisingly one day my people discharged the battery so much that it was only inverter that cut off and not the battery. I think the Luminous LVD is 21.6v (10.8v) 1 Like |
