Those close to Odili at the time revealed that Odili’s decision to replace Amaechi with his cousin Omehia was so that Amaechi will still be a part of the government somehow.

The events of the 2015, 2019 & 2023 elections in the state are still available online for all to see so, I won't say anything but if you're honest with yourself then, you can see why Rivers people don't want to have anything to do with that party at all

I am not saying Amaechi was loved as a governor. I am referring to when he was the speaker. When he became the governor he did everything to show he wasn't the same with Odilis government. Although when he started to go against Jonathan many Rivers people developed hatred for him and this was during his second term in office. That stigma remains till date.
