Fubara Makes Me Weep- Wike

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has said that he often wept because of the alleged betrayal shown to him by the suspended Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara.

Wike, a former governor of Rivers State, made this statement during a media parley in Abuja on Monday.

“When I go back in my quiet moments, I play the video of speeches of the governor (Fubara), what he said, what he did to me, I weep,” Wike said.

Further speaking, he lamented the way he was treated by Fubara despite the role he played in ensuring he became Rivers governor,

“This is somebody who brought you, gave you food, gave you everything, did this to you, and then you became a tool for his enemies to fight him.”

Meanwhile, Wike said he will lead the campaign of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2027 presidential election.

This was as he dismissed the allegation of undermining the opposition party by serving in the istration of President Bola Tinubu.

“I am still in PDP. I worked hard for the party,” Wike asserted. “I have not seen anybody who has the guts to tell me, ‘Wike, you are not a member of the party.’ Who is that? What is his contribution to the party that is more than me?

“No one will take me from the party. I’m a member. In fact, I’ll lead the PDP campaign in Rivers by 2027.”

Wike also revealed his delight in challenging powerful persons, especially in his role as FCT minister.

He said, “Look at what we are doing differently. People have said that FCT was not working (but) now it is working, which means I’m doing things that they (past FCT ministers) refused to do.

“I found out that most of them didn’t have the courage to annoy people, to step on toes, but I take joy when I step on the toes of big men; those who say nothing will happen, but I say something will CONTINUE READING

In the law profession It is said that "he that comes to equity must come with clean hands". Wike is holding PDP in the scrotum. He has earned all the noise as far as PDP matter is concern. This is a fact Atiku, Saraki, Ameachi e'tal cannot argue with, they all snitched PDP during Jonathan era for Buhari (APC). Their hands are not clean at all. I stand with Wike position on PDP affairs. Fubara was too hasty to start a fight with Wike.

Wike overdid the god fathership. When you over appoint people for your godson even to the point of appointing his kitchen staff, that's too much.
