Let's give kudos to the guys behind the Brand SA organisation. They have presence throughout the globe selling any SA brand sellable. From tourism, fashion, art, books ,wines etc. Those guys are working overtime promoting SA and I'm happy they're getting the recognition they deserve ![]() They must keep watch of Brand Kenya though. It seems like they are catching up fast; selling Kenyan brands and Tourism sites and all. Wherever you see Brand SA flags ,you're more likely to see Brand Kenya flags nearby as well. I love it though ....Africa needs that presence in such global events . Promoting our own rather than tearing our own countries apart. 3 Likes |

We are not in competition with anyone. Wondering why other Africa countries always use Nigeria as their measuring yardstick |

helinues: Ofcourse but it ended up being a dyck measuring thread with Nigerians prophesying doom for SA and a bright future for Nigeria ![]() Anytime Nigeria has some positive news or goes up the rankings in something ....the thread will be dominated with comments like ; " we will show all these mushroom African countries we are the giant.of Africa " ![]() " Naija no be their mate na, we are the most successful African country" ![]() Etc. It always ends up not being a celebration of what youve achieved but a chance to belittle and insult other African countries . Amnesia ![]() ![]() 3 Likes |

Lionessza6: You could have directed your epistle to those that you have been doing Tom and Dick measuring. The thread you refered to, I was on there, my comments are still there. Africa as a whole still have a long way to go, so what's there to be competing about |

RandDigital: Seems you Saffas are running out of meaningful threads to open just to stay relevant on Nairaland. Shouldn't you be concentrating on GBV crimes that are a massive problem in SA! ***Shame*** |

RandDigital: RIP to OLorato. At least they didn't blame this one on FOREIGNERS! Your GBV criminals are definitely putting "SOUTH AFRICA FIRST" in this regards. |

seppuku:Where you deserve blame you shall receive it eg. Pastor Omotoso |
seppuku: 4:10pm On Jun 04 |
KingCold: Pastor Omotoso was found "not guilty" by your proclaimed competent judiciary or are you itting now that you are running a banana republic down there in the South? |
KingCold: 4:14pm On Jun 04 |
seppuku:A whole Nigerian calling other countries "banana republics" is wild lol 😂 complete lack of self-awareness |
seppuku: 4:16pm On Jun 04 |
KingCold: You brought up the Pastor neh. I am only responding to South African matters at this juncture. Do you want to discuss our Wike versus Fubara matter? |
KingCold: 4:18pm On Jun 04 |
seppuku:Your pastor is but one example of your people committing crimes in this country, so this " at least they didn't blame foreigners" rhetoric won't work.. they DO commit crimes in this country. FACT |
seppuku: 4:21pm On Jun 04 |
KingCold: Your people are a heavily xenophobic/discriminatory peoples towards black foreigners. This is FACT as well. |
