iwaeda:That is,real clowning. You are converting polytechnics and technical colleges to universities left, right and centre on the one hand, yet on the other hand saying you are paying 45k stipends to technical college students. Asides being ironic,it also doesn't make any sense. Next, you pay doctors and nurses during training to incentisize them to stay? Engineers, okay, more students enroll in engineering and get 60k per month. Oh,what of agricultural students,go into agricultural studies with 50k every month so that there would be more farmers.Education, ditto and the list goes on and on! 32 Likes 3 Shares |

seborrhic:He is even lying he not going to pay anything, that's how he promised workers 35k palliatives to cushion his disastrous economic policy before his miserly minimum wage, he also promised pensioners 25k,over a year now he is yet to fulfill it,even the minimum wage not fully implemented for both workers and pensioners Is it the same person that will pay students, Tinubu government is like yahoo government, scamming everybody But has good systems that does not make it obvious like, useless NLC,weak opposition, and a good media buy which helps with propaganda or suppression of information or news 23 Likes 1 Share |

Tinubu's government seems to be making the right noise lately. This is a great move. I sincerely hope they also follow through with their proposed electricity infrastructure upgrades - At least creat a blueprint for it to be realised. 16 Likes |

Good idea but the money is too small. Haba. That's the cost of a platter of crocker fish and potato chips in Lekki Phase one (One meal oo) That's what stipend they want to give students. 1 Like 1 Share |

All this APC socialist idea of throwing money into the air is counterproductive What technicians and artisans need is access to modern techniques and methods of doing their jobs not stipends With that, they'll be able to become more productive and even export their skills Imagine that most mech, carpenters, bricklayers, welders in Nigeria cannot compete favourably with the ones from Benin and Togo in of modern methods of carrying out their crafts They are only useful to the politicians to cajole them to vote during elections after which they are abandoned to their fate!! 1 Like |
