Can I run the hole wiring of the below fan with normal 1mm AC wire including the DC line(from battery to the fan)?

NB: The solar is not included and battery position is a bit far from the fan

I need your insights please.

Can I safely power a 12V CCTV camera directly from a 12V battery (charged by solar)?

I have a CCTV camera that normally runs on an adapter rated for 12V DC, 2A (input: 100–240V AC). I want to by the adapter and power the camera directly from a 12V battery (such as a sealed lead-acid or LiFePO4), which is charged by a solar system[b].

[b]My questions:

1. Is it safe to connect the battery directly to the camera’s power input?
2. When fully charged, the battery can output around 12.6V to 13V—is this safe for the camera?
3. During solar charging, voltage can reach up to 14.5V—would this damage the camera if it's connected?
4. How do I ensure correct polarity when wiring?
5. Is it safe to charge the battery and power the camera at the same time?

Any advice, experience, or wiring tips would be really appreciated!

O check ur camera specs dat is if u re buying good products I think read a voltage from my mumtimer . It was around 14v wen I increases voltage for long range wires recentky

yes, but you will need a DC to DC regulator for it

Hmmmnn, I had similar issues trying to connect the wifi module of the growatt inverter. Try these two fixes:

1. Ensure no special characters or spaces in your wifi network name and .

2. Ensure your wifi is outputting on 2.4ghz frequency.

It was number one that caused my own issue.

BTW, nice to know Junctek now does remote monitoring.
wow, thank you bro. The first option was my problem also.

Connected and can be monitored anywhere in the world now

Try a DC to DC converter to ensure safe stable voltage.

Thank you, I will place an order for this.
It will be cool if I can get something around 10A.

My people.
What is the best recommendation for a 1.5kva set up
?.
My 1kva luminous just developed fault, I have a decent tubular battery.
I just got 2 africell 330 watts . I am just confused as to which inverter I should go for. Ideally I want to be on the tubular for now then replace much later with a lithium battery.

Please Inverter recommendations Biko.

SRNE and Schneider.

Rest of the house, the amplifier and the fan are on the SRNE.

Smart TV is on the Schneider

Hybrid or TF based?

Try and switch/set the inverter to ups.

It ought to solve that problem

quite agree with you BUT paying millions to an installer, doesn't automatically make an Installer good enough. Na your work to employ services of a good installer, then negotiate with them. Sometimes, na even the Cheap one that might end up serving you more.
Exactly.
Check it cost of materials 5m
Workmanship 200k
The roof very high.

Solar installation is following the electrical wiring trend grin grin grin.

Na who dey sell market they gat am clear undecided

Crossed an installation yesterday. More than 30 solar s mounted directly to the roof. No roof mounting kit, cables running bare on the roof.

Often a product of "I can do it cheaper" group of companies.

Well, it works. Until it doesn't.

Funniest thing about this is doing maintenance on it will be very tedious.

But till then

Buy satchet inverter, I don't know if you have external chargers.

Good to know that the Chinese are still predictable cheesy

BTW, where did you buy the monitor from and which exact model did you buy?
adrusa: 9:34pm On May 27
If connected in parallel, you will end up with VOC of the lowest and possibly lose some efficiency. If connected in series, you are unlikely to lose much, if anything.

Please I need suggestions on a 2.5 - 3kw hybrid inverter with a PV input voltage of at least 180V and max pv array of close to 2500?

KM110F , AliExpress

My inverter has a WiFi dongle for monitoring, but I prefer an external monitor. Gives exact readings directly from power source which is the battery.

That’s a more accurate reading than that of an inverter.

Nigerian electrician hates to ground a house.

It's appalling the level of no protection they put up while wiring the house.

87% of Nigerian electrician needs to go back to tech school for a one month intensive course on electrical protection.

Nothing makes me sad to see multiple houses without basic electrical earth and lightning protection.

Using an inverter without a battery of any sort is impractical in Nigeria.

What happens when sun suddenly goes down or there's cloud cover and your s can't supply the needed power instantaneously?

Inverters marketed as being usable without batteries are only valid in countries where grid supply is constant. So when any of the above happens, the inverter draws power from grid to fill up the gap.

Good morning my people, it seems lightning has damaged my DC breaker, I woke up this morning to notice that my battery is not being charged by the s, so I decided to put off the DC breaker switch and then put it back on. Noticed there was a bit of spark.

As it sparked, I saw the input wattage from solar go up a bit. After the spark the wattage disappeared. Attached is the DC breaker switch. Would I have to replace the breaker switch? I'm thinking of unscrewing the spd box to ascertain the level of damage.

Is not as if they don't know, is just that they will still do something shabby and call it protection, so they end up pocketing the money....

This is how they complete the workmanship grin >: grin grin grin grin.

Don't ask me how I know undecided

This is not totally true.

If your pv is sufficient to run your load, it works as per design.
