So does this imply that any governor that sacked LG chairmen lacks education. I have list of over 15 PDP governors that suffer same educational problem as Edo governor sacking LG chairman.

We don suffer for Edo. I practically relocated from my Siluko Road office to G.R.A cause of the nuisance of agberos and touts calling themselves bus drivers/conductors. EDSTMA that was active under Obaseki has now gone quiet as the hooliganism has been enthroned.

Funny truth is that is what Edolites want. Trade on walk ways, pick and drop engers at the middle of the road. Go to Ring Road and see different uniforms, nearly 7 doing God knows what with imprints as Freedom at Last. That freedom to do nonsense when Obaseki no been allow us.

I once criticized Obaseki here over his failure to fix Sapele Road in the name of it being a Federal Road, but walai that guy was good; changed the face of our civil service. We really don't know what we have till we lose it.

You see am so?

Now you understand the difference between educated people and uneducated people. Obaseki simply wanted a civilized society, but politics deprived the citizens of the next man, who could have brought more civility to the people.

Now I think that citizens will be praying and fasting fervently for the courts to favour Ighodalo. However, which ever way it goes, I simply wish you all the best and sincerely hope that education or not, Okpebolo can improve in his leadership style.

See them insulting the whole governor as if other governors from other parties don’t do the same. Recently Adeleke did it in Osun that even resulted to the death of a local government chairman, that one is normal ooo.

Hypocrites everywhere……
Why do you people always like to compare failures?

A little bit research can end all these talk about his educational background.

Eloquence doesn't equal education. Disobedience to orders does not mean uneducated.

It is okay for an educated person to have a different perspective. A leader can also go rogue.

This has nothing to do with education.

NB: I genuinely don't care. Just don't misrepresent facts.

I am very sure this analyst is not sincere in his analogy. What has education got to do with mind expansion and understanding or obeying court orders or separation of powers !!!
you wouldn't be asking this question if you were really educated cool

We warned them. They allowed politics of hate ti consume them. I highly rated edo electorates before now. But not anymore.

How can you choose a Monday over a hugh flyer like Asuen Ighodalo. Edo lost it 2024

What do you understand by one being educated if you are truly educated as you think you are?

Leave that takes of moon light. He knows what he is doing as a politician. Every governors want to control the state assembly and local government. Outside the illegal impeachment of chairmen he carried out by using the assembly , he has been outstanding for the past six months. He is actually doing practical governance. I will rather have him as governor with is style of governance than have a grammatic governor with nothing to show. Una wey get governor wey be professor and PHD holder, come and compare your governors first six month to his own. No be by cho cho cho cho but show workings.
Practical what?

Before you debate me as an Obedient, go check my posts.

To the issue, where in Benin-City are you, so we begin to interrogate what you've termed "practical governance." When most traffic lights around Benin City are broken, the menace of thugs around the city now, was Ring Road this lawless under Obaseki?

Wherein Benin are you, I will drive down so we meet and have this conversation?

same thing I was told people I have this conversation with, obaseki might not have been perfect but he was definitely better than what the opposition painted him as, even now no major construction work is going on in Edo my street's construction work has been abandoned, the only time we get to hear from okpebholo is when he makes some negative headlines in the news.

They're unserious....
Obaseki waited till the end of his tenure to get LG chairmen elected in.....he wanted to his own henchmen still running in Okpehbolo's tenure...I am sure those ones too know that .Monday won't go with such plan...the best things for then will to find their ways into Monday's govt. somehow...
..although it might already be too late.

While the suspension is illegal.... the person who should really be blamed is Obaseki...and if you claim poor education for okepebholo's suspension...what do you blame for obaseki's 5years refusal to constitute any LG election.?... over education?

Obaseki began d work in your street...in what year?.... why did he have to wait till that time?... he was trying to play Amosun's ogun state script on you people...that fool also destroyed ogun state roads and bulldozed their markers...then left it like that for over three years...only to start beginning to fix them when his tenure was almost over...forcing the electorate to vote his candidate ...if they want the roads fixed...it's bad practice and whilst I do not promote illegality...I do not blame okpebholo for refusing the unfairness.... those who are affected should really have sued obaseki for not holding the election when he should have

Edo state will have this problem because the state has been cornered by oshiomole....so the money/resources are probably being shared...just like wike and his boy wld have been doing if that one had not rebelled...it is possible that wike and d current military head likely have d same arrangement in place.....maybe when wike has gotten the amount he invested and his projected gain from the state...fubara can go back and really have his own government...then run it how he deems fit..

So...most apc states are likely going to have that issue because of how much they have to remit ...to their main Godfathers..as well as the party centre...

Sad reality but understandable nonetheless...

It is entirely idiotic to watch Nigerians talk about education or lack thereof. Education is not limited to be formerly given a paper from a square block of concretes called schools.

I don't blame okphebolo completely for the abandoned project in my street, but one thing I have noticed is the lack of construction works going on in the city, okphebolo is getting things wrong, there is practically no leadership direction, what is he doing at the moment, he's been in the news lately but most of it has been, when he demolished certain properties, him promising Tinubu massive vote from Edo , the famous" it is confusing me" speech and his fight with the local govt and the attorney general, apart from these he's been relatively silent on actual leadership.

I think I agree with you that there's been no serious show of leadership/tackling of critical issues since the guy was elected...I somehow believe that he's not sound enough to have the position...if not for quota system issues...his current deputy should do better in that seat..also... I am suspecting that it may be due to oshiomole and APC's meddlings in the state's treasury...we don't know what fraction of the state's resources he will need to release to the bosses who got him into the seat..

But it may also be because they have so much issues to still sort out.... I will personally want to see if he's been paying the civil servants appropriately...and then perhaps see what plans he's drafting up to show his legacy on the people..although given the why he came in...it may be hard to do...especially with these lawsuits that may throw him out of the office anytime.

Go and ask people in your localities that aren't educated this question abd listen to their responses. If you don't see correlation between education, mind expansion, understanding or obeying court orders and separation of powers then you need more education. I will advise you to input that question on Google or chat gpt to get educated.

Some mistake or equate education for/to literacy! Education helps one to understand and appreciate law, order and civility, and is the difference between man and beast!

Monday the package fraud by Oshiomole. Since being in the office I have not seen him granted media house face to face interview. Someone who can't answer questions well being interviewed by the BBC pidgin how do you expect him to answer in Regular English language.

Well, you’ve got to hand it to them! If there’s one thing APC is good at, it’s packaging! I mean, you can’t deny they did a ‘good job’ with Tinubu, Nwifuru of Ebonyi and most recently Okpebolo of Edo! wink
