AndroBlaze:Is there a market for used tubular batteries? |
AndroBlaze: 7:59pm On May 25 |
Dabss: Sure there is. That's what they sell in major markets like Arena and so on. My first sets of LA batteries were mainly used batteries. If you are so sure of the quality/capacity of your batteries, post it here and try the main clearance thread. https://nairaland.macsoftware.info/3589456/house-clearance-sales-come-here |

What is the phenomenon called in which if you turn off a fan or an amplifier the smart TV blinks for a millisecond? What is the reason why that happens when my inverter is powering the smart TV and the fan or the smart TV and the amplifier? |
bassdow: 8:21pm On May 25 |
mctfopt:yea they ain't cheap when compared to lots of the funny things in the market, but when compared to likes of MorningStar, Deye, etc, they are very cheap. That's what I meant. And it's for their charge Controllers and other products also. |
obitobe: 8:24pm On May 25 |
why don't you buy a 6kva 48v system instead of 24v system, also what is the make of the inverter please drop that idea of getting 300w s, why not go to fouani and get a higher wattage and half cut technology ( you can get 6 s of 620w Jinko s from Fouani @ N138 900 which is better than the 12 s of 300w that was quoted for you), that will also be a tier 1 . Ferdiwar: 9:05pm On May 25 |
Run ooo. The amount quoted can get you a better setup of 48v with a lithium battery that can comfortably power your inductive loads. Stormyweather: 3 Likes |

Stormyweather(m): 9:36pm On May 25 |
Stormyweather: Is it possible to get this setup with about 2m? I mean something that can carry the loads. |
Dam5reey1(m): 9:39pm On May 25 |
Stormyweather: Spend the money once, get 5kva 48v with Lithium 5kwh batteries and 6 units of 600w s from Fouani as your minimum. You can grow from there. Or still use a 3.5KW 24V True rated ones plus 5kwh Lithium batteries and 6 units of 620w pabels, I used this for about 3 years and served well. AC during day time only. |
dollarnaira: 6:21am On May 26 |
FEGEITOK: Like goes off and on in milliseconds? |
FEGEITOK: 7:33am On May 26 |
dollarnaira: Yes, exactly |
Mrreed(m): 8:36am On May 26 |
OR 620w from Fouani x6 <125k each (the key to getting this price is if you have of electronics seller that buy other things from Fouani. You can liase with them to help you order this straight from company) 6kva Luxsun/cworth hybrid inverter circa 450k The other materials will cost 160-200k if the s will be on your roof and yiu stay in a bungalow. If you don't mind DIY Battery, I can make 14.3kwh battery for you for 1. 650m Workmanship, look for a competent person around you or hire from here. Stormyweather: 7 Likes |

Does anyone know where I can get this type of ceiling light in the local market AC/DC with voltage range of 12v - 48v?
|
iraybuju: 9:06am On May 26 |
Mrreed: I prefer you go with this because of the diy battery so you know exactly what quality you are getting for a better price |
Dam5reey1(m): 9:27am On May 26 |
Mrreed: 7.1KWH wont be bad too, cause his 2M budget will be exhausted already 3 Likes |
Mrreed(m): 9:56am On May 26 |
Didn't see the budget cap before responding. 2m should get him a battery, inverter and 5 s Dam5reey1: |
HeavenlyBang(m): 11:14am On May 26 |
Stormyweather: Then you have to go with a 24V setup. Firman has a 3kw inverter with 5000w PV input for under 400k. Or you can buy one of the 4.2kw inverters on the market. Battery from Mrreed is probably best value on the market these days. Haisic also sells a 7.2kwh lithium battery for ~800k, but it has no screen and you have to rely on your inverter for monitoring. Figure out how much accessories and installation will cost you, and then put the remainder of your budget into s. You can survive with four 620w. Five would be better. Six best. 1 Like |

Dabss:Yes there is. Issue is, Tubular batteries are more rugged and durable than ordinary Lead acid battery hence except that battery is being sold because previous owner is upgrading, or relocating, chances are what you are buying is an exhausted thoroughly used battery, hence there would be little to nothing much left for you the potential new . In other words, except you're lucky to see a Tubular battery being sold because owner is upgrading or relocating, na Nonsense you go buy 1 Like |

FEGEITOK:there are several things that could cause such to happen. One thing I know is it mostly or only happens when there's noise or voltage drop somewhere in the circuitry/system. Can't recall but I don talk am here before and a popular scenario some people could relate with is, a sound system that works well BUT trips OFF and ON the moment you raise the volume so high BUT would return to normal operation when the high volume is reduced |
dollarnaira: 11:45am On May 26 |
FEGEITOK: Check socket for partial . I believed all share common socket point. Make sure everything is firm. However, it seems effect of amplifier is stubborn. |

Good afternoon all. Please help me out on this. My mum’s system is a 24V system with a pwm charger controller. She wants to improve her PV array to 1800watts (4 x 450W jinko s). What’s the best way to accommodate these? Is it through an MPPT charger controller or to change her inverter to another 24V hybrid that can also accommodate these s? Pls suggest with brand names, and if available for sale let me know the prices please for sellers in this forum. And as a form of , my 17kwh Valto battery and 6kva growatt inverter are performing excellently so far. 3 Likes |

swagifted: Hi swagifted, Can you share her details, cant locate her on my phone anymore. Thanks |
HeavenlyBang(m): 4:48pm On May 26 |
Ahyjo: If her inverter works fine, you can just buy something like this. Takes 2500w of PV in 24v.

HeavenlyBang: After he buy everything he go come dey proce installer 100k ![]() Nobody talks about this stuff on this thread. If you are going to spend on what has been recommended (the recommendation is Valery valid) be will to spend well on a good installer. Is funny a lot of people will spend good money on equipment the spoil it with cheap installation.... Inverter will damage then you will hear this product is not good 5 Likes |

FEGEITOK:What type of inverter? |
FEGEITOK: 10:02pm On May 26 |
Obnoxious2001: SRNE and Schneider. Rest of the house, the amplifier and the fan are on the SRNE. Smart TV is on the Schneider |
FEGEITOK: 10:10pm On May 26 |
dollarnaira: I recently rewired the house so that inverter supplies power to the house distribution box. I never noticed that when I powered the Smart TV directly from the Schneider inverter without ing through the DB While powering the fan directly from the SRNE also without ing through the DB. I wasn't using the amplifier at the time |
