Hello brothers and sisters, I taught I should share this and seek your opinion on behalf of a friend, a friend of mine got his inheritance of 2 plots of land which is valued at about 15m-20m He’s a graduate of Mechanical Engineering from EKSU, a teacher in a very big private secondary school in osun state, he’s in his early 30’s not married,he has 3 options, a friend of he’s who is into imported building materials wants to take him to china and teach him how to import and sell goods,the guy is pretty succesful, secondly he wants to buy a government job slot and thirdly he wants to process a work visa to Australia.my advise to him was to go for Australia. Pls advise like you would give yourself

I'd advise him to go for job slot if the condition is fair (no payment until the office can identity him). Aftr doin job slot he go stil get moni fr ground to marry & let her wife run a shop business etc

The salary is not different from other ministries. Making money in any ministry depends on your luck and department. For the case of posting outside, it requires connection's and luck.

As a Civil Servant my advice to him is to pay his friend to teach him his trade. Paying him would make him take the business serious as opposed to getting the knowledge and information for free. More importantly, he should under no circumstances go into the business with more than half of his funds.. the other half is his insurance in case it goes south.
As someone who knows a little about Australia and Japa. I'd say although Australia is a great country especially for immigrants, it's not favorable destination for anyone who plans to visit home occasionally. The cost implication of travelling from Australia to Nigeria is believed to cost over $10k in some instances.
My advice is summary, go to China, learn the trade and start with 1/3 of the money see how it goes
