......alright. He is gonna resign so JAMB can be great again.
As opposed to shutting it down like you suggested, that's a better alternative.

Its better for everyone to rewrite, Anyone now can claim his results was also wrong. The fair thing is for a level playing ground for all candidates and everyone rewrites

How do we know JAMB batch B will be same standard as JAMB batch A. They might be stricter or laxer
You didn’t answer the question
Those kids use a year to prepare for that exam, those that ed should rewrite again and if they fail they will wait another year
Some of you can’t take what you propose as solution and it’s not fair at all
How can they use a year to prepare for exam and come back to say their a glitch
No wonder our elections are chaotic because they use 4 years to prepare and still fail.
But to err is human, we recycle again
Rinse and repeat

In your own opinion what do you think will be fair to everyone who wrote the exam

When there is mass leak in exams, or massive inconsistencies, The ideal thing is to rewrite for everyone

Complain? One of the things I love about the 2023 elections is that it has opened more peoples eyes. And they now see clearly, As time goes more will also see the light and know what is up

There are several people who ed Obi last time and after seeing the last 2yrs on twitter will not do that again

That is one of the biggest takeaway from last elections

Dem don declare 2yrs ahead that 2027 election will be Bigotry Balon dor.

Aura for aura, energy for energy. I now have hopes in the youth unlike before when majority of them were soft and showing weakness

Don't attack first but anyone that attacks you, counterpunch effectively to serve as deterrent

Asiwaju no need run anywhere, Na people dey rush am. In 2027 we might not even have an opposition party cos SE PDP just declared that they may leave the party

Hire new people to clean up the mess and not make the same mistakes.

For me you'll be setting a precedence that high level mistakes will always lead to consequences which will make people sit up.

Na so and by the time the people they're sentimental to are not in power, they'd return back to being good governance advocates, and lovers of standards.
I these guys told gej to resign because he was a failure, gej was roasted when he said if you fail you are allowed to repeat
Now to err is human

In this forum, I’ve come to see two distinct sets of people. The first are those who seem to have never made a mistake in their lives, at least in their own eyes. They are quick to criticize everything, rarely acknowledging any good in others.
The second set are those who have truly experienced life, with all its ups and downs. Their judgments are shaped by what they have experienced in life, understanding, and a willingness to give others the benefit of the doubt.

Is this what we are reducing ability to now??

This is the covert victimhood I refer to...everybody knows that things don't work like this in real life. In war, the aura for aura type you reference, there are times you attack first, and times you respond to attacks.

Sad to see what Nigeria has descended into

These exams are supposed to be standardized, and quality controlled, such that whichever batch of questions you receive would be of the standard for your year.

The way they've chosen to go is the right approach, they should have probably given the kids and their families a little time to plan for the new exams, and not fix commencement within a 48hr window.
Olowunl01: 2:32pm On May 15
The Prof should offer his resignation, I don't care about his past achievements, what's the point in crying and the going ahead to schedule an exam in few days? No consideration for the young people and their familes - minimum should be 1month.

Oga nobody has such high expectations from JAMB. You can't be using your experience in a proper company in the private sector to compare with JAMB. If you fvck up, you lose your job. In Nigeria if you fvck up, and are kind enough to it to your errors, praises would be heaped on you.

Standards are generally relaxed in the civil sector globally, not to mention in a Nigerian parastatal like JAMB...that they fvck up is normal and expected. All they had to do was be honest on what happened, ask the kids affected to resit, and it'd be just another Sunday.

That they saw the situation with the kids result, knew we expected little of them and were fine with them fvcking up yet went ahead to cover up the situation is criminally negligent, and borders on malice.

Quit comparing Apples and Oranges, despite the extent of their failure and malice now made public, if heads don't roll nothing would happen, this is who we are.

Some principles are abiding

Once you spot a fvck up which is potentially embarrassing to the organisation or Government, you can be forgiven if you try to rectify and apologise. But if you make the decision to sell it to the public anyway and are caught red handed, it's inevitable you fall on your sword. From the timeline you have given, it's clear that JAMB tried to sell the fvck up. These are abiding principles in any organisation. The JAMB registrar is not an elected position, he's an appointee, so he must fall.

The slowness of a tiger is not that of cowardice
You don't need to attack first. You maintain your lines but when attacked return overwhelming fire

A good general should show dynamism in his approach to battle, and this means attacking when victory is certain and retreating/refraining from attacks when not certain. You certainly can't have planned for one wave of attack grin

Sahara reporter claims she's been known to a very brilliant student and her results have been good before now.

I think they punished her for posting the video and not for being part of those chanting.
