You see .. it's just bunch of wickedness and i don't care attitude.. ravaging the system, nation wide ..

Just like INEC systems too... During and aftter candidate examination.. who audited the computerized marking scheme?

We just do random sampling at the expenses of others... Using 10yrs ago statistics to fail young candidates...

Most accredited CBT centers are using obsoletes ICT infrastructures... And this would undermine the results of brilliant candidates too... Even Jamb technical officers, most of them are inexperience.. to monitor. .when things doesn't go right within the system...

Employee people based on merits .. u say Noo..

But employ based on internal referrals.. just have your Bsc from Unilorin in any career.. relevant or irrelevant... And a core Muslim background... Then have someone close to oloyede.. only then u can work with JAMB..

The result is what you see playing around today...

You don't have to believe this story... But it's the reality here..

It's everywhere. Some weeks ago, a radio broadcaster was on air and saying he could help you, what do you want? One of the things he said is that "I have slots in XYZ university". He was somehow showing how connected he was, he wasn't bragging about it but it was like 'grace'.

Nigerians will have to decide if they want systems to work or not. It's a bad habit Nigerians have. We want things our way, grab it and run away with it. What we are not realizing is that the youth will rise up very soon. I pray this JAMB doesn't become an ENDSARS 3.0. The adults are so comfortable with the mess they live in, they are living in an illusion that it will be business as usual. Meanwhile these young Sorosoke Gen Z have one good thing about them, they love justice and their broadcasts is social media. We are sitting on a time bomb.

Are you saying Jamb is above mistake or what.
N sir, just that these technical glitches are from the CBT centers trying something different. JAMB wants to expose them.

When will JAMB make its result to be valid for more than one year?
Good point, especially in view of the age nonsense they just introduced. If they're sure they're not after the poor masses money, they should consider your idea. Not only that, the candidates' morales tend to diminish with time. If a candidate scored high this year but couldn't make it to ission for whatever reason, no problem. The same result can be used next year

With the prevalent lack of comprehension, narrow-mind and unteachable spirits displayed on social media especially here on Nairaland by majority of the Youth - No critical thinking; broader view of life is zero - I already knew that ing JAMB will be a herculean task to such generation!

If you see the way they're currently abusing Chatgpt, you'll weep for this generation.

Go through their reels and short vids on Fb and TikTok, nothing impactful.
Just dancing, turning head from side to side and smacking lips.

Try chatting with them and they'll bore you to daeth.

This is just the beginning.

If that is the case, why will innocent children suffer for it. Jamb should make their portal more secure in order to prevent such and ensure that students scores are not affected by any such manipulation

It is an algorithm I think. If you try to compromise it will misbehave. Once Jamb verifies this, all affected candidates will be rescheduled and the cbts owners will be jailed. That is their T&C.

GEN-Z are bunch of online warriors abeg.Government needs to see action cuz some of those old politicians are not even active on social media so they don't feel the impact but GEN-Z need to take action into their door step.

My nephew wrote this jamb. In English, he saw questions where he was expected to answer after reading a comprehension age, the comprehension was not there. So he shaded B on all the answers in that part.
Another part, he saw the answers but the questions were not there. He also shaded B in that part.
In all, just to be on the safe side, he shaded B in about 17 incomplete questions from jambs unstable technical failure.
1.9 million people wrote exam and 1.5 million failed is a failure on the part of the exam body.
A girl I know that scored 311 last year got 180 this year.
And jamb should make the exam twice yearly.

DO BETTER JAMB

Yes you are right, but if the network glitch is caused by altering the CBT servers, sorry to the affected candidates. Only the owner of such centers will be jailed.

🇳🇬 we Nigerians are too hypocritical. We all know the root cause of this mass failure but we all act as if we don't know. Issokay, let's continue blaming JAMB while leaving out the real culprits who actually are the parents, the school owners and the government.

Now that the man in charge of JAMB has come forward to it there were indeed issues, how do you feel? We should not be quick to jump to conclusions, this is what ignoramuses do, if hundreds and several thousands are coming forward to say they are sure the score they had in the just concluded UTME weren't theirs, then something is definitely wrong.
Going forward, please do not be quick to put your folly into writing, it is these young folks' futures at stake, let's be careful and let us make sure these kids read comments from us adults and stay Inspired.
This issue most likely happened in the past, and those who wrote in those times probably couldn't use the media to make themselves heard or were just not as confident as these sets of very smart young students, we have seen how verified s of people in their 30's and older, were tweeting garbage like " it is CBT there can't be errors, students are now crazy with Tiktok blablabla" these old idiots should keep their heads buried in shame and learn a thing from this.
This is what happens when revenue generation is what every government agency is about, they become blind to providing actual value, I will not praise Oloyede for coming forward and acting "righteous", he should resign and never hold any position of meaning, incompetent man.

I did not exonerate jamb in my post. I only pinpoint the root cause of the problem. Do you agree with me that there's rot in our educational systems? Can we exonerate the parents, school owners and government from this rot? Before blaming JAMB, let's first address the real problem. That's my point.

Meanwhile, do you two know that if they set the most complex English exam for the three of us or anyone in your states that you prefer to nominate, I will trump you? .

In this world of remote, you are talking of a physical location??

No much noise.

English Score, take the test and a full snapshot of the result here. Even a miracle will not make a human who finds it comfortable to use "No any" to begin an English sentence score above A2 🤣🤣

The test takes about 30 mins but I'll give you 40 mins for installation of the app. Your time starts now.
