I have noticed this ugly pattern since you came out to it you had installed a bot to check comments and ban s who are deemed to have committed some infractions. To be honest, you released a bot to keep running after our comments but we don't really know what exactly the kind of comments the bot is reacting to. You don't define it to us, we often find ourselves being banned for reasons not known to us. Is it fair that you have refused to define the kind of comments that attract the bot's ban?.
Back to my main point, I have noticed whenever I mention the name of Petér Öbi in my posts, it is automatically deleted and I'm banned. I can't even talk about Obi in any of my posts since this bot palaver started. Meanwhile, I can mention other names like Tinubu, Atiku and everyother individuals and leave my opinions about them without getting banned but if I did to Óbi, I won't get away with it.
I don't know why and I need to know why that is. Go through my posts and see i have been trying so hard not to mention him lest I get banned. To be honest, it wasn't like this before you unleashed the bot on us. As much as people are free to talk about Tinubu and others, It would rather be unfair to gag us from having an opinion about Óbi.
I want to know why I can't mention Óbi's name and express my opinion about him. I am only speaking for myself in this situation as I do not know the experiences of others, I demand a response as that will determine my final decision.

This is what Nairaland has become unfortunately. You will just see a ban and you kind of wonder what happened.

I have stopped making comments on the site. After making one comment, the next time I try making a post, what I see is "sorry you can't do that now, try later". An indication I have been banned. Even this post I just make, I doubt it will survive.

Does it mean I can't mention the name given to him by his father?. Sometimes, if I make a comment about him on front page with the names you suggested, it gets deleted. They want you to keep it clean. But what's shocking to me is why I can't even mention his original name in my comments.

Are you sure, or are you being haunted by the lies, falsehoods, and propaganda you've been spreading against an innocent man?

In fact, I believe you're haunted and plagued by nightmares

I have noticed this for some weeks now. Whenever I put his name in, na wahala. Today, I made a comment twice with his name included, it was deleted. I tried the third time with the same comments but excluded his name but it wasn't deleted. Then I edited it to include his name, as soon as I did, I entered another ban straight. I have not been mentioning his name lately.

Agbado telling lies with a straight face as usual. Nothing new here. He knows his comments are always laced with tribal slurs and bigotry, he knows what comments got him banned, but he has to fabricate lies to play the victim card.

It is terrible. Absurd, dictatorial and haphazard censorship you can't even make sense of because it is not consistent and seems the unfair imposition of what an individual consider right or wrong on behalf of all.

Imagine a poster insulted Yorubas several time on same post with "agbadorian' and lampoons Yoruba '"nebriated culture".

I replied to set him straight, with not one word of insult, and got banned and the chap never did.

I get banned so many time's a day, I just stay away for the whole day sometimes because it is clear Seun is arbitrarily targeting certain posters.

Even my innocuous comments gain me a ban. Tiring but people should leave when they have had enough. That is my advice.

Abeg leave datwan dia.
They love attention more than anything.
If you mention obi they'll say u carry him/igbó matter for head like okpa, if u don't, then u/Nairaland have censored it.

You can't please them.
cool

I've notice that too but the tragedy and unfairness is that agbadoriain, Ronu, skullminers and all manners of derogatory slurs the hateful lot tag Yorubas with is not a problem here.

Then they'll all make santimonious noise about leaders and politicians been dictatorial, biased and unfair.

Thanks for the heads up, the bot is still nowhere near fit for purpose in my humble opinion.

Sometimes I put a post up, walk away to fight life's real battles, come back after more than 30 minutes and I know I have been banned at some point because my posts have dissappeared.

No reason for the ban is provided so I don't even know what I did wrong.

Please increase uncontested bans to a couple of days and give reasons for any bans if possible.

This one wasn’t banned, was it? Perhaps you can try making comments that don’t have tribal slurs in them for a change. You can do it. Don’t start the victim card already.

Precisely. No doubt Seun has a 'hit list' of posters to target and muzzle that was handed to him by mods from a certain region.

Upbraid rabid and uncouth Natasha fan, na ban.
Tell off those openly denigrating Yorubas, ban. Take on openly bigoted and malicious posters, you chop ban they remain.

Mention the labour Party Presidential candidate in the last election you'll be banned while some run around calling our President Druggie, drug baron etc.

In fact when they do that and you tell them they are more famous for what they accuse Tinubu of, na ban. They remain.

Some folks here are now sacred and can say what they wish and use whatever slur against Yorubas but you can never rise against them in return.

Very obvious what is going on. Good luck to Seun in his attempt to please and appease those who nothing Yorubas do, since the fifties, has ever pleased them.

Look at this as an example. Replace agbado with what is perceived as a slur word against some people and ban is instant.
